As a half black half filipino I see nothing but a child joking around. He wasn’t putting anyone down or attacking anyone. He was using a word that I hear in songs and other media on a daily basis. Regardless he was a child and that fact someone was lame enough to bring it up now is ridiculous. I swear white people make a bigger deal of the word than anyone else. It really annoys me how you can call Justin a racist from a word he said almost 10yrs ago. Even back then, he had black friends so to call him a racist is just dumb. He was just an uneducated kid and didn't know the meaning of the word. As someone said before, we literally hear the N word used in songs nowwa days all the time, some songs can't even go 30 seconds without repeatedly using the N word. 15 year old Justin might've taken the N word as another way of refering to a friend or whatever.

Anyways, people have really forgotten what the definition of racism is. Racism is when you discriminate against a race solely based on their skin/ethnicity/background. Merely saying the N word without truly meaning to offend a person of color doesn't make you a racist. Just ignorant. Like I said before, that was almost 10 years ago.
