What's so hard to get about it...he drops old town road...it starts to die down in pride month...he comes out to keep the hype about him...he comes out with more music while he's being talked about...Now this doesn't explain his account Twitter but I just wanted to explain why people thought so, also there was never a need to bring a race into this as every artists that comes out in the music industry gets backlash and questions.
Race is a major part in this as well. It's behind the reasoning of Old Town Road being labeled as "not country enough". It's behind the level of toxic masculinity within the Black community, resulting in a ground for possibly even greater LGBTQ+ discrimination. Beyond that, this country and most of the world is literally built around race and sexual orientation. You can't thoroughly talk about a POC coming out without discussing race and culture with it.

Maybe you should watch the episode: Lil Nas X tried to explain why he came out as gay. Kevin Hart: "So what?"

So many bitter ass people up in here. smh..Lil Nas X is nothing but an upbeat and positive individual. He's not on social media starting drama or acting a fool.. He just makes fun music and lives his life. You have to be a pretty miserable ass person to try to belittle and minimize him or his obvious talent and success

The song is garbage. It’s success says more about the consumers than the creator.

No. The production on that song is masterful, it’s catchy as all hell and it’s like nothing else released this year (if any year). Maybe you’re one of those people who don’t know how to listen to music.

Masterful? My god. Really?
I’d say that, yeah. It’s pretty damn near improbable for most musicians to drop a song which rules the Billboard charts for 19 weeks - but to also launch yourself with a song which successfully mashes hiphop and country?? A master stroke for Lil Nas X. You might not like, but legions of people do.

Seriously you gay people need to get your racism together. This whole thread is a bunch of Neo Liberals being crazy racist.

At least a Bopmer would straight out say they don’t like blacks or gays.
Hey there, you need to look up what your own slurs mean  “Neo Liberal” is an economic term - it has nothing to do with racism, orientation, etc. And by “Bopmer,” I think you meant boomer? Though I highly doubt the ppl in this thread are over 60. The next time you denigrate people you need to know what you’re talking about, or you risk sounding like a blithering idiot

Did you take neo from neo nazi and think it'd make sense putting it before liberal lmao? You're just calling people here gay racists who support capitalism...
