West Side YMCA, and Vanderbilt YMCA. I go to McBurney on 14th even though the showers aren’t open. Still a good time usually.

In the biggest cities; LA, NYC, Chicago, good luck finding a communal shower.

However, if you are in North Carolina, Tennesse, Utah = you will have much more luck.

Just visited Milwaukee and the pictured YMCA Southwest ; all facilities used nude by variety of ages.

Yes. Sat in the hot tub with an dark haired irish boy, about 18/19, who later followed me into the sauna and sat right in front of me = with no towel and his hefty thick meat dangling between his legs.

Yes, some Y's are very cruisy; this one isn't.

This thread is about sharing locations of the few remaining communal showers in the USA. I wish more of you guys would share locations.

UT Austin TX. Gregory Gym- Main Locker room open showers and sauna. Alumni / Staff locker room down behind the racket courts....open showers and steam.

University of Toronto Athletic Centre- open showers.

Trinity University Dublin- Open showers in both the main and pool locker rooms.

All of the above require registering and purchasing a day pass or other membership.

I’ve noticed this too. The biggest cities are obsessed with gender, sexual orientations, not having anyone ever feel uncomfortable. Anything from the past or ‘traditional’ is claimed to of course be problematic and offensive or backwards.

Try to please everyone and you please no one. Oh and u waste a hell of a lot of money on partitions, walls, glass doors, cubicles.

The Community Center in Gatlinburg Tn has open showers. The shower room has the old style of pole showers which are really rare to find. Unfortunately, no dry or steam sauna nor hot tub. Just lockers and shower room. I was the only person showering the day I visited. Day passes are available & they have a workout room with gym equipment & indoor heated pool for lap swimming.

The YMCA located in Athens Tn has open showers placed on the wall of a square shower room. This location has no dry/steam sauna nor a hot tub. The day I was here, no one was using the showers except me.

Open Showers- YMCA- North Carolina

Cary YMCA- has a row of stalled and a row of open. The open showers are used surprisingly frequently by both young and old
Winston Salem Y- They only have open showers here and it's very cruisy
Charlotte Dodd YMCA- one row of open and lots of stalled
Wake Forest Y- One row of open, one row of stalled

Please add to this list, YMCA or otherwise

YMCA Childress does have open showers as well as stalls.
Keith Family YMCA only has stalls
YMCA in Belmont only has stalls
YMCA in Kings Mountain only has a couple of stalls

Does anyone know about Johnston, Simmons, Richardson, Harris, Brace, Morrison, Steele Creek, Cornelius?
