I am 6' 0" and 165 pounds, 31" waist, 42" chest and 12% body fat. I've had to work hard for that and honestly I'm damn proud of myself for getting in shape. :)

good job. Personally, I'd kill to be 175 again, I'm just really lazy and not used ot being as busy as I am now, I need to smarten up and get back to the gym/start running daily again. I remember as a freshman in high school (4 years ago) I had 30% body fat (obese) it was measured in health class. I started working out after that :lmao: No idea what it is now, but I dunno, I'm still wicked out of shape, don't know if my pictures display that, mainly cause I look in shape chest and up/ waist and down. Only my stomach is afected (weird body donchya know...) If any fi guys live near me, if you don't mind helping to kick me in shape...hahaha

I'm 6 ft and 38 and 1/8th Osage Indian. My weight varies only slightly between 175 and 178 lbs. Part of the reason it looks as if I'm well endowed is that I'm long in the torso; levi's are 32W and 29 or 30 inseam. Chest is 45. I worked as a male performer for about 11 years after college so it was imperative that I keep my bod in shape. As a real gym rat (work in one as a PT and train in another) one could say that I'm trying to fight the age factor. However, it's imperative that my body's in top shape as an example for my clients.

if your in that good of a shape, then SHW IT OFF, all you have dick shots, which are nice, we all love dick, but I'm pretty sure you have a lot more than a crotch (last I checked).

(a) By nature, I'm an exhibitionist and the last thing I'm interested in doing is hooking up or meeting anyone on the internet. In other words, I'm satisfied with my current sexual partners.

(b) Although, I've had a rather promiscous past, that life is behind me. Am in a different profession and prefer to stay closeted, despite being an exhibitionist. As to my current job, I've been photographed with gym shorts and have appeared in a couple of ads in trade mags as well as an issue of my employer's rag.

(c) Too many guys in Tx, Fl, and La, irrespective of whether they're members at lpsg, have seen me nude or partially nude and basically for career reasons do not wish to be outed. Thus, you'll never see my tats, piercings or face in pics here on the forum.

(d) Am no longer that cute 18 to 28 year-old that most gays and bi's find heavenly, adorable or cute; one of the main reasons I went back to school and gave up my past life.

(e) If you look at some of the larger galleries, they're nothing but cock.

I have been modeling for several months now. Although, I'm not with an agency right now, or sure if I want to be just yet, I have been working with many local photographers to build a portfolio. I'm about 5"8, so I'm pretty short, but I'm 140lbs with a 30 inch waist. People seem to really like the pictures I produce, and I've been getting a lot of positive feedback.

jeez ur light, but your fairly short too, so I guess its not too bad. I'd kill to loose 50 lbs though. This would bring to about 160 or 165. hhhmmm...maybe thats a little much? I think I'd be happy with 175 or 180. But nuthin above that....I'm just too fat...lol

When I was in 11th grade, I was 6'2", had a 28" waist and weighed 136 pounds. It sucked, I blew over on windy days and couldn't find pants to save my life. I ate and ate and it made no difference. I would eat a big breakfast, have a mid-morning snack, three sandwiches for lunch, afternoon snack, huge dinner and bedtime snack. I would actually feel wiped out if I didn't eat like this. I hated being thin. I graduated at 6'3", 29" waist and I think that I weighed 142. Up to age 25, I didn't change much. I did grow a little more in height after high school and slowly put on a couple pounds of muscle from my workouts at the gym. I graduated to pants with a 30" waist at 32 years of age. I still have to order pants 30"x36" from catalogs or internet but it is easier than it used to be.

I am constantly amazed by people; I was described by a lady the other day as the tall skinny guy. How would she feel if I called her the short fat woman? Why is one acceptable and the other not.

The school that my son attends sends a letter home every year evaluating his weight. I know that their is a problem with childhood obesity but this seems crazy. He is following after me and is thin. Each year, the report states that he is at 0% bodyfat and his health could be in question. They include a note that we must make sure he is properly fed. No SH*%. Some people are thin but that isn't always a happy place to be.

Steps off soap box and eats pretzel.

This is a 9 year old not an adult athlete. I don't know exactly how the school does the test but they state the 0%. He is skin and bones just like I was. I tried weight gain powders. I gained a pound or two but as soon as I stopped I would loose the weight. I decided the 1-2 pounds wasn't worth the $$$.

well I do think 160p for 6'2" is perfect. May be European norms for weight are healthier? aren't they... better for the heart but also for erections!

Males in the modelling world today have anew norm. A typical model, when 6 feet, should weigh 145 lbs with a 28". It seem to vary a sin 10 lbs per inch of height (6'1" is 155 lbs, etc). Lets say suicidal? I was just wondering, what are everyone's weight to height rations? I'm 210 lbs at 5'10" (I'm out of shape)...maybe we could compare modelling vs normal:
Models 6 feet = 145, 6 feet 1 inch = 155, 5'11" = 135 (these are guess-timates, the first two are confirmed, seen them in articles, last is just a guess for shorter guys...you typically don't see guys below 5'11" or 6 feet in modelling, not tht I'm in one)

Paris weight norms are not Europeans norms. And Europeans norms are not American norms either...
still, I think 160p for 6'2" is good. not suicidal but good for your heart, for better erections, for self esteem. and heavier here in Paris is considered as fat... hey hey! And to tell you the truth about models, because they have to do a lot of sport usually, they tend to be skinny "in real" but heavy because of muscles without fat... Where did you get your stats!

Most of the guys over here in Europe are pretty skinny with little muscle mass. Most guys never work out. I actually have one of the more muscular bodies even at the gym over here. I think in the U.S., I would think of my body as being more average.

Obesity is pretty rare. Everyone seem pretty healthy weight wise. I have to say when you are over in Europe for a while, it is absolutely shocking to return to the states and see how HUGE a large percentage of the population is. Something is way out of whack.

Their grocery stores in Europe are completely different as well. The soda and potato chip selection is very small. They don't even carry the big bags of chips. But their fish isles are huge and carry an incredible selection of fresh fish. Most of their bread is made without preservatives and only lasts for a day, maybe two before it goes hard. So you only buy what you can eat in the next day or two. Huge aisles of dairy products, cheeses of all kinds and yogurt.

Clothing is also cut completely different. Shirts are tailored to fit a body that is not overweight. I think a person that is over weight even by 30 lbs here might have a tough time finding clothes that fit.

I know this post is a little off topic, but I have to say, there is a whole continent that fits more the Prada model look. They wouldn't be considered overly skinny in Europe.

Currently, I'm 6'4" and 180 pounds with a 33 inch waist. I was at 215 last summer, and the flab around my midsection was starting to get pretty tough to cover up and suck in. When I made the decison to get back into shape and lose a few pounds, and I started running again, I could feel the fat in my chest and stomach, something I hadn't felt in my whole life. I knew right then and there I had to continue if I wanted to get back to my college weight of 180, which was my goal. I look at the ideal weight for a male model, and according to this weight chart I've attached, 155 pounds for a 6'1" model would be ideal, if the person were carrying a small frame. Well, none of the models I've ever seen appear to be sporting a SMALL frame, so this aforementioned height and weight seems dangerously unhealthy for even a medium-to larger-framed person. I have a larger frame, and I just barely fit into the lower end of ideal weight for someone of my height; as a matter of fact, I'm 1 pound BELOW it.. uh oh!! =)

There's lots of fat people in the UK. It's, by far, the fattest country in Western Europe. I don't know much about Eastern Europe to say anything.

Europeans - particularly male Europeans - are not healthier than Americans, despite being thinner.

Some of the Western European countries have higher life expectancy rates than the US, and this may be due to that fact some Western European women are more healthy overall healthy than their American counterparts.

Canada is no less a fat country than America is.

Off my soap box...for now.:biggrin1:

At 6'4" and 195 lbs with 35" waist, I feel about 5-6 lbs too heavy and love it when a few weeks' burst of activity rids an inch off my waist.

I like guys on the beefier side and find the overly skinny fashion & model trends pretty silly. I rather feel muscle under or over me than bones...

Finland ranks high in obesity, after the USA. The dismal dark winter changes the hormone balance and makes people overeat and sleep, not a recommended dietary combo:)
