Yes, nobody can dictate what you do with your own body. Anyone is free to comment. Some people hate the idea of piercings or tattoos. I've seen stills of a self-castration. Some people feel two feet are too many, and occasionally find a surgeon who will remove them. I guess suicide is the end-point of totally extreme body modification. (Or maybe taking others with you is, or maybe volunatary cannibalism like that guy in Germany.)
I don't know if there is an objectively definable point where something is an innocuous BM and something is so insane they need to be protected from themselves. Maybe it's arbitrary. The people with twoo many feet claim great relief from amputation. Maybe that's OK, then. Can anyone clarify?

i actually know the guy in this video he is a friend of mine from England and is very much sane and intelligent but just like heavy genital modification such as myself
the purpose of opening up the penis in such a manner is that the insides of the penis contains hundreds and hundreds of bundles of nerve endings just waiting to be stimulated.....some men do sounding to get at them which is were you insert metal rods down and it feels really good haha......most of us with splitting started with that and just moved on further with it
i cant seem to figure out why people constantly find videos on the Internet.....such as the other one posted awhile ago of the legendary mark our founder, just to make fun of them
cant you just let people do who they want to be and not belittle them since you know nothing about them as people

Do that to kids, that is okay, "...never did me any harm", they say, about circumcision....but a guy voluntarily cutting himself? Now that is perverse.
I've not watched the video.
I'm sorry, but I find your comparison of this video and childhood circumcision videos fatuous, and your singling out of a single LPSG member to make the above remark odious.Sly Adey said:Have you looked in your pants? That's a pretty nice CUT cock you have there.

were i do agree that even though it might be posted in a negative light positive can come from italex8 said:Furthermore, as much as warwithscars has bemoaned the posting of such videos out of context... which I can well understand... I do think that it should be remembered that someone watching this video could just as well find it a positive revelation to an unarticulated interest/desire/fetish of their own. In that sense, one should recall the adage that 'every discourse is its own counter-discourse'; or, in more everyday terms, that 'no publicity is bad publicity'. Indeed, considerable research has shown that negative campaigns against homosexuality have in the past opened many people's eyes to their own homosexuality, which they have gone on to explore positively. Likewise, no matter what intent people may have in posting extreme body mod videos, the possibility of a positive response in some viewers for whom these may function as an absolute life-changing eye-opener should not be overlooked.
I'll downgrade them to "illusory" and "accusatory in tone" if it makes my rebuttal come across as less intense/personal.Sly Adey said:"Fatuous" and "odious" are pretty strong words, Alex, I will get back to you on this one perhaps.
