Mason Gooding (booksmart, Love Victor)

I liked it
I kinda liked it too but there were scenes that were so badly written, like when the majority of them faced the killer and they all ran away instead of attack head on. In Scream 2, Sidney was trauamtized. In this one, they all seem to have fun talking about the murders. The killer reveal and the many antics of the final act were also dragging. Also, that final scene where they had to wait for the killer to regain consciousness before the final face off? It was so corny. Last year's Scream 5 was actually better despite some unrealistic scenes.

The only thing I didn’t REALLY like about the movie,is that they didn’t do much character development….spoiler….but you’re telling me,chad cares more about a girl, who’s just BARELY his friend, over his TWIN sister,in the “5 on 1,” apartment scene(where he didn’t try to take care of his sister,FIRST.)??

I wish we could’ve atleast gotten more dynamics of the twins working together and the sisters working together,to take down the killer.. if you never seen the previous movie,I almost feel like you wouldn’t even know any of the characters were related to one-another.

Spoiler alert in my reply

I was surprised that Sam was more concerned in contacting Mindy more than her twin brother, who was more focused in getting first base with Tara. Mindy and Anika also didn't look like they were in a relationship, there was no chemistry and Mindy didn’t seem to be bothered with what happened to her girlfriend.

Also, how are they all openly having fun talking about the murder pattern including Sam? I mean she was supposed to be traumatized. Unfortunately, the tone of the movie was set differently, that's why the death scenes aren't as scary anymore.

SPOILER ALERT... I figured out who the main killer was when it didn't make sense that he easily moved on from that one death scene so fast. It's like he was grieving for one second and became a normal person right away and it didn't make sense that he was detective and he had his daughter stay with the girls who was closely linked to the murders.

What do you mean ?
Kinda adds fuel to the notion of him not being 100% straight. She actually identified as lesbian accorfing to Wikipedia at one point. In my experience I find girls like that if they date men the guy is usually queer ‍♂️
