The thing is, it has a lot of notable young actors attached. Most of them have done Netflix projects so I don’t see why Netflix or any other streaming platforms wouldn’t buy it. Exactly, pretty looking young adult angst films are trendy rn and given the cast/premise it could easily find an audience if they just give it some spin. It's not like it's going to make money sitting on a shelf somewhere.

Besides, Mason spends the whole thing in a bathing suit. Even if it sucks that still makes it an important piece of cinema.
