At this point I don’t get how he still gets money from sponsorships? Especially from Swiss Air, I wonder how much they are paying him but also what is the ROI, cause he’s just not as relevant and his videos for Swiss Air just looks outdated and not modern like other influencers

no, their condo didn't burn down, it's their house that did. they owned a condo and rented it out when they moved into their rental house which burned down. Andres moved back into the condo when the lease with the renters ended and Max is in Europe.

because they probably thought/were told that a house or at least something bigger than their condo would be helpful for their adoption file.

they didn't buy the house, maybe they had a rent to buy option, but the house didn't belong to them when the fires happened. someone posted receipts at some point. also the renos they did were cosmetic, painting, garden, etc. they didn't do anything major.

the kept the condo because if they sold it they would have lost money. the rental income on the condo went towards the rental payment on the house presumably

the modifications to the house were mostly inexpensive cosmetic upgrades
