I was curious if anyone had met or seen any porn stars at bars, shopping centres etc....?

I mean, do porn stars have friends they just go to a bar with and hang out, would think it would be a hard thing to do (excuse the pun) especially for a well known porn star

What do they do on their days off??? Just had me wondering, maybe I have too much time on my hands

I have, in fact I have been with a few/Three and didn't know they were porn stars until after.

My first encounter was named Gino (his real name and till this day I don’t know his stage name)
I would always see him at a club and didn’t know who he was and he was down my friends house but wanted to sleep with me, I only seen one video of him and that’s when I knew he was a porn star until after I seen that Video.


The second

His name was Jamo (his stage name) this encounter was about 15 yrs ago and about 3 or 4 yrs ago I read in a gay magazine that they found him dead in his apartment and the police think it was suicide but his family thinks he was murdered.

I can only give you his stage name Tony but when I meet him I only knew him by his real name, I meet him in a club in West Hollywood I always told him to smile at the time because he never smiled, we would see each other from time to time in the club for about a year, he did give me his number but he was always so busy with his job so I just stop calling I didn’t know who he was until after our encounter then he told me his stage name.

That encounter was fun and after it was over it was funny maybe I’d give you that funny story later, I only told one friend.

Porn stars, or any celebrity for that matter, are regular people. They need to take a shit just like anyone else; and seriously, it's pretty damn impossible to look glamorous while taking a dump.

Of course they have friends and hang-out, but how they react to being recognized in public shows how professional they are. Some people go into "star mode" or the stage persona only situationaly and prefer to lead the rest of their lives in anonymity. You will be shocked at the difference if you ever meet them in performance/schmoozing mode versus going to the grocery store mode. Other people are always in character (or want to be), and if this is the case, be afraid and slowly back away. And even other celebrities are just able to deal with their public and private personae in a healthy manner and can switch back and forth seamlessly and simultaneously without loosing a core identity. It is your job as a fan to control yourself and not put them in a scary situation where they feel threatened and have to call the bodyguard. Let's be real here, everyone, I mean everyone sometimes has a bad day. If that is the case, leave the person fucking alone. The rejection is not personal and has nothing to do with you; just bad timing on your part. And hey, if they are prima donnas and treat their fans like shit all the time, they won't have any fans left. And honestly, you can't be a star if you have no fans.

I've met Ron Jeremy, too, but at a Denny's in LA of all places (near the Staples Center). While I've heard the same things about him (attention whore and celebrity wannabe), the night I met him he was pretty subdued. I only talked with him for a couple of minutes, but he seemed like a pretty bright and personable enough guy. If I recall correctly, he has a Master's Degree in English and was a schoolteacher (!) before getting into porn.

I also saw Kendra Wilkinson (Playboy, Girls Next Door) at an Arby's in San Diego (Clairemont Mesa Blvd. and 805). Didn't get a chance to talk to her, though.

Here is a blast from the past...

Many years ago, back in the 80's, I met Al Parker at Christopher Street West. We shared a mutual friend, and ended up spending alot of time together that day. He was very sweet, and really seemed to enjoy the attention he got from his fans.
