Also I thought it was very poor sportsmanship for the French swim team capt. to state before competition started that they were going to "crush the Americans".....and later insinuated that the Americans were afraid of them.
Yeah.....made asses of themselves, so they deserved to lose.

For all the people making comments about Phelps teeth, how fn vain can people be, at least there white and still there. Not everyone has the ability to pay out 5 thousand dollars to make there teeth look like dentures. And for Phelps condition it would have been more expensive if its a cleft pallet or something like that. His mom is a single parent, do you realize the boundaries you have to surpass to raise a child as a single parent. This women and this child beat those obstacles and rose to the challenge. There both champions if you ask me. I can't believe the number of fugly people who's pick were posted on this site and called hot and sexy. I'd say thats the most screwed up thing here. Some fat bellied short dicked mf will get a good comment out of kindness and then you'll bash someones looks because they've become a national hero , really makes sense.

No one is pointing out how skimpy the divers suits were and the swimmers had no where near the tiny suits they wore diving. And no package to match.

Why would anyone accuse a trainer of sexual attachment without somekind of proof this stupid type of thinking is where this shit usually gets started.

I was happy for him when he won too and looked forward to watching him win but National Treasure? The only national treasure is the several hundred million dollars through advertising he will put in his pocket just like the members of the US basketball team who watched him swim plus all the kids who are flooding his facebook page. Let's not lose site of the whole picture here, despite all the media hype focused almost exclusively on Phelps, it was his teammates, specifically Lezak that helped push his gold medal count over that of 4 years ago.

Millions most certainly. Hundreds of millions? Come on! Aren't you confusing gold medal and golden parachute?

Only Fortune 500 CEOs who run their company to the ground deserve that kind of money in the US.

Lezak certainly rocked and is due his full credit. However, I observed no evidence that Phelps appropriated the victory in the relay races or that he is not a team player. As for the last relay race (Medal #8) last night, you must have noticed how he came up way ahead in the most difficult fly leg.

As for Spitz, you must have watched him on NBC a couple of days ago. At least on the record, he was 100% behind Phelps.
 
Phelps has a beautiful body, and I would suspect that his phallus is nice too! Unfortunately he does not have an attractive face, and most of that is due to his teeth. However, one of his sponsors is reported to be giving him one million dollars as a bonus after the games. I suspect he'll get millions in additional endorsement offers. He can now have all of the tooth work done that he wants. I'm sure he could get a Playgirl spread too if he wanted it. Who know who much that might pay! Wouldn't you buy a copy?
