Now here is a highly-controversial image.

Now, which figure do you believe did more to advance the cause of the United States?
For everyone talking about how small Phelps looks in that suit, take a look at this:
The Celeb Archive - kosuke kitajima
Then take another look at Phelps and tell me if your opinion is a bit different...
Before he swam in a race yesterday or the day before, there was a short video about him.
Stated that while he is 6'4" tall...his legs are the length for a man 6 feet tall and his torso is the length for a man 6'9" tall.
Said that's one of the reasons he is such a powerful swimmer.
Said his feet were size 14 and were more like flippers when swimming.....
Heh heh...my attention wandered after hearing size 14 (even knowing that's a myth).
That's the one they showed on TV. It is obvious what that suit does. I think it would be highly uncomfortable and for the women too. Interestingly, I noticed Michael did not wear the full body suit in a few races.
seriously i dont hate phelps because hes not a perfect looking person. its because with him there its pretty much obvious who is gunna get gold. National hero my ass. if you think he is competing to win for his country then you are an idiot. as long as he wins he will get money from endorsement deals. but why should i even watch the Olympics if i know that phelps is going to win? next thing you know hes going to even win female gymnastics events ... cuse he phelps.
HA! I like the CEO comment! But back to Michael, he has deals with AT&T, Speedo, VISA, OMEGA, Rosetta Stone and he wants one more with a fast food chain. In fact, his mom also has an endorsement deal. All of this makes no mention of all the cereal boxes that will now use his pix and pay for it nor any future deals and don't kid yourself, there will be tons of them as everyone will want a piece. It would not surprise me if the Enquirer (or some such other scandal rag) gets pix of his long lost Daddy on his doorstep looking for a handout. Sad, but quite possible, nevertheless.Millions most certainly. Hundreds of millions? Come on! Aren't you confusing gold medal and golden parachute? Only Fortune 500 CEOs who run their company to the ground deserve that kind of money in the US.
