The one thing that I really want is a dildo that looks and feels almost like the real thing. But I can't get that because I don't want people to come over my place and find something that is obviously a sex toy.

So I want something that's more 'portable', something I can travel with and the customs people won't exactly know what it is.

Some questions for the ladies with experience in this field:

> should I get something that has a vibrate function? I'm guessing that vibrations will probably numb that area but am I right? Or do vibrators get the job done quicker?

> should I get something with a rough or smooth surface?

> Any suggestions on what I should get?

I'd just get what you want. (Just leave it at home)

Cyberskin Dildos are THE BEST. They feel like real skin, they warm up like skin and they fuck like real skin.

The vibrating dildos do nothing for me. In fact, I've got a few that I'm throwing out just because when they vibrate, generally you sacrifice some softness.

Get yourself a Cyberskin Cybercock.

I would get two sex toys as your first...

something small & you can travel with...
this is mainly for clitoral stimulation but I highly recommend...
also try to use lube with these vibes...
helps any numbness or irritation you may experience because its too dry...

And for at home fun for both vaginal & clitoral stimulation...

DECADENT INDULGENCE 1 VIBRATOR - Adult Sex Toy Superstore - Fascinations.net - Shop Toys in Arizona, Colorado & Oregon Stores

dildos are not as popular as the ones that vibrate and/or "spin"...
but this is the cyber skin line the above poster was talking about...
the vibrating one is super weak... I don't recommend spending the extra $10 for it...

OR

you can get a dildo & put a vibrating cock ring on it...
it can also double for a male partner to wear...
or on your fingers...

okay, okay, I'm getting confused! LOL, so if we were to base our toys on BEST for orgasm/pleasure, what is the best? What about those wands that say they hit the 'g' spot? :)

I was just browsing some g-spot hitters last night, quite scary! They're very curvy.

lol -- me too, but they do look scary! I like the idea of the first one, but which is better, A or B?

And why not vibrating? lol, this is complicated. Pretty soon we'll only need a heating blanket, our toys and we'll be all set!!! lmao!

oh, man, Wifeneedsgurth! You need a vibrator?? I was just thinking that you of all peeps don't need one! lol -- you're a lucky woman, you know that, right?

Okay, so the rabbit. I've heard it's a bit much? As in too much stimulation? No? Yes? :)

No. I insist on the rabbit as well. Do not buy a cheaply made one. Buy quality. If you decide to get one, get one which permits the user to separately control each of its functions (that is, the rotation of the beads or ball bearings, the "squirmy action" or undulation of the phallus, and the vibration of the rabbit ears). In my opinion, this is the crowning achievement of the sex toy industry!

I have purchased various toys for current and ex girlfriends... The Lelo range is a little more pricey but a real winner.. especially as a first purchase. Some of the good toys that have rave reviews look really scarey and agressive, so may not be best as a first. The Rabbit style is also a winnder but is quite big and noisy.

Go for Lelo... the GIGI or the LIV

I would highly recommend taking your sexual pleasure more personally. I would never allow other people to dictate what I can, and cannot own. I keep my toys in an overnight bag, behind my hamper, in my closet. Previously, they were in a Curious George toy box. The one time someone asked what that box was for, I told them the truth. It contained sex toys and porn. Had they been someone else, I might have told them they were my personal effects, and left it at that.

So I want something that's more 'portable', something I can travel with and the customs people won't exactly know what it is.
When was the last time a customs agent gave a damn' about your opinions? Who the hell are these strangers that their ideas are so important to you? I recommend getting something you really love. I also recommend always checking luggage containing controversial items to avoid having to have awkward conversations while surrounded by accompanying family members, or co-workers. I also recommend removing any batteries before packing.

For me, this depends highly upon what kind of toy it is. My clit is easily desensitized by too-frequent vibrator use. Internally, I don't have this problem.

> should I get something with a rough or smooth surface?
For me, texture hasn't made much difference. I'm afraid you'll have to buy your own toys, and find out what you like. Your first toy doesn't have to be the best toy there ever was, and even if it is, you won't know that until you buy a few more.

> Any suggestions on what I should get?
My personal favorite is the rabbit. There are many varieties, so I know you could find one to suit your fancy. However, this is no subtle sex toy. If you really couldn't tolerate owning a toy that looks like a pleasure device, look elsewhere.

OMG, puss......I TOTALLY need my rabbit. You know, for those odd nights where hubby is traveling and I'm too tired to go slutting around out on the town LMAO

AlteredEgo has it right...spend some money on it and make sure it has separate controls for all the fun little features
