We were too, lol. We were worried it would be shit, but it wasn't. Thankfully. :tongue:I was inclined to hold my breath a bit, some time in advance -- but in the end, it was a triumph.
Me, too! Good luck Rio! :smile:I think London did a fantastic job from start to finish. It seemed to have a very nice, fun atmosphere. A lot of big moments for a lot of countries. I look forward to see what Rio has in store!
Yes, I didn't like that. Embarrassing. :redface:also, your politicans doesnt even wait for congrats, they start from the very first moment to applause "them self"...
.....just as well Seb Coe did manage to deliver his speech as he did,I thought the IOC's presidents speech was pretty uninspiring...!!The only thing I would say - is that Seb Coe's speech seemed a little (embarrassingly) narcissistic. Woulda been nice to leave the compliments to Jacques Rogge (which he was very generous with) and concentrate on thanking everyone for coming and taking part, and for giving us the chance to host it.
But anyways... I enjoyed it all no end.![]()
Looks like Michael Phelps is in Hot Water! Michael PhelpsÂ’ Leaked Louis Vuitton Ad Could Mean Olympic Trouble - ABC News
No way the ioc is going to enforce rule 40. Phelps is the worlds greatest olympian ever, and i reckon he should be able to do whatever he likes. He is a humble and gracious winner. I'd love to shake his hand and say congtatulations.
Yep. I heartily disagree with it, also.Dont mind saying that is the most disappointing thing i have ever read about Sportsmen and Olympians, full stop .
Absolute shame you can think and write like that.
