I believe that they were going to take a vacation together to celebrate and that’s why they were teasing Pedri and Ferran (because their “ship” has entered more of the public consciousness). Buuut Ferran got drunk and was twerking on Pedri and sitting between his legs etc that one night and that got unexpected attention. So, I theorize that to protect their careers they were completely separated as a pr move. A MASSIVE accomplishment and the two best friends have not been seen together anymore. Now we have Ferran leaving Barca, even though during the World Cup he was fighting to remain with Barca. Thats why not many in the team have made public messages to Ferran, because their feelings are hurt since it was so sudden and now that he’s a hero he dips on the team. Rashford was with Barca for a year and everyone was wishing him the best
