Posing Nude?

I have been approached a few times about modeling in the nude. Once, by a complete stranger on the street, to pose for a sketch; another time by someone who worked a gay bookstore where I shop sometimes, for a photo from which he wanted to base a painting; and twice by guys at the gym, both times for internet pornography, and most recently by someone who wanted to hook me up with friend of his who supposedly had a website devoted to redheaded men. Although I found the attention to be flattering, I do want to provide for the record that I know better than to be too impressed with myself; I think any reasonably attractive gay man with a decent physique and a larger than average endowment is likely to receive such invitations, both legitimate ones and ones that are really just come-ons. I can’t say that I ever seriously considered these proposals, simply because of the obvious potential for conflict or embarrassment in my public and professional life. Still, as someone entering middle age who realizes that one does not remain in peak physical condition indefinitely, I admit that part of me likes the idea of having a high quality photographic record of my body in good form, for a memento. I guess this is partly why I like having a gallery at LPSG, although I am too cautious to include my face, and there are limitations with one can accomplish awkwardly aiming a cheap camera at yourself. However, if I were to agree to or actively commission nude photographs, none of these “tasteful” or “artistic” renditions for me. I would want them to be graphic, with legs open wide and my dick at full mast. I may be biased, but I think this is the male form at its very best.

There has been several additions to my modeling gallery, but later this week, he asked me for a third shoot.

This third shoot will be a little different. First off I talked about my Spider-man costume and showed him pictures of it, and he wants me to bring it with. That should be fun!

Also, he wants me to shoot with another model, a guy. I told him, I didn't have a problem with it, if he didn't have a problem with it. I just want to keep you guys posted, and want to know what you think of the idea. Plus, I think many of you will like the photos produced.

I really thought this was going to be a one time thing, so I'm surprized that this will already be my third shoot with him. Apparently, he's been getting an overwhelming response from my photos and mine are getting more views than any of his other models. So, I don't know, it might be thanks to you guys. But it's getting me more work, so thanks!

So yah, that's that. I'll let you know when some new photos are added.

kjguy, love the new pics very nice. I like the sepia tint (I think that's what it's called). Some of the more arty ones I didn't get. The one with you in Uggs and a belted militaryish shirt I found a bit disturbing, not sure why.

Bottomline you look H-O-T, HOT!:smile:

haha, yah those Ugg ones and that belted shirt I hate!!! I don't know why the photographer puts me in some of the things he does. I didn't know they were uggs until I asked someone. I have to admit, those pictures scare me too, and I prefer to erase them from my memory. However, they are a great deal of ones I do like, so it makes up for it. Your comment is appreciated!:biggrin1:

I've posed nude many time for photographers and artists. I enjoy it, and it gives me an incentive to stay in shape. I also did a Spencer Tunick shoot with 600 other people. Great fun!

I would be quite happy doing nude photography so long as it were all artistic and quite happy to show anything and everything, quite happy to do erections too if it were also in the right context. Not interested in life modelling or porn.

If you could pose nude or model naked for someone, would you?

I did, I was very comfortable doing it and the photos were nude but arty. Posing nude is just the best feeling. I am quite happy to show my penis and wouldn’t hesitate to pose with an erection too if it were also in the right context.

Recently there has been a great resurgence of bodypainting as an art form as well and I also volunteer to be a model. The only requirement is that I have to shave off my pubic hair which isn’t a hardship for me.

A girl friend of mine asked me to pose naked for her as she was starting to get a portfolio together. It was a hard decision because we had a close relationship but in the end if worked out well and I was very comfortable with her. I think that is the most important thing.

Yes as a photographer I strongly recommend a model release it protects the rights of both parties. I never shoot anyone without one!

I posed for a painter once,he used a paint roller on me.

I really like your shots. You look very relaxed and I like the variety. Great job by you and the photographer!

being a photographer myself, I have shot some artistic nude and partially nude photos. I like different lighting, and often mix in oil and/or water. One thing, I never ask the model to do something they are not comfortable with. But I think it is good for young people to get some artistic shots taken, because in 20 years you could very well look quite different. Most of all, have fun!! Oh, my avitar is one of my favorite artistic shots.

Yea I did it.

There was an art student looking for someone on craigslist to paint. There is a guy that is a professional artist that I've posted for; I hope 100 years from now some one is looking at my image.

I am a painter, and work a lot with male and female nudes. I think it is awesome--I don't know about photography, but in drawing, I look so intensely at the forms, and the model can feel that energy--I love it.

When you are NY send me a note and we can set something up.

I like the ones with you & that other guy. There's a real contrast between your two, body, face and demeanor. They have a nice feel to them.
