    Ok so i posted before about keritinization on my cock head and wantin to regain some sensitivity, well ive been moisturising and it does seem to have helped a little, ive also treid to reduce how much i masturbate but im finding it hard, i did put a challenge on with a friend not to masturbate for a week , but i screwed that up on the first day so that went well.

    So just wondering if anyone has any tips on how i can reduce how much i masterbate, i currently do it 4+ times a day sometimes ALOT more, really depends on the day and in some cases if im bored

    anyway wondering if anyone had any tips they could share

    (intrestingly i seem to hit a bit of a medium after having been swimming where i am not as inclined to rub one out but when i do my load is larger and im more sensitive but once i do it once i want more :S)

    No but jokes aside. I have found that the more you do it the more you want to do it...like cocaine, from what im told >.>

    So just cut down to once a day, then 1 ever 2 days etc
    and working out helps to blow off steam too....so hit the gym etc.

    if you have serious depression, its like you have LOW serotonin, not high serotonin. so, getting a pituitary panel may not be a bad plan at this point . . .

    Diet, Well, i try, but not allways easy, my life is constantly on the go, rare i get to sit down for a proper meal just grab what i can but i do try and be good doing it. Excercise regularly, swim ALOT (lost 17lbs in 3 months) and startin gto use the cardio stuff in the gym as well (aiming to build muscle tone in my abs and shift my last bit of fat.) and sleep habits are shot, I have insomnia so i sleep as and when

    thats what im hoping

    I leave that to my doctor, i have no clue what to do to get one and i wont see a psychologist

    You need to take it really seriously and go cold turkey.

    I mean, think of yourself as having a serious addiction and treat it that way. The moment you start thinking about doing it, tell yourself to do something else. Don't watch porn. Don't watch anything sexy at all. Don't come to LPSG and talk about sex. Don't go to sex chat rooms. Don't even talk to people that may make you horny enough to want to masturbate.

    It sounds crazy, but that's what you'll need to do to kick a habit like this. Four times a day is an addiction. Your body and mind is addicted to the chemical changes that happen as a result of masturbating (acetylcholine release, etc.).

    Do it for one week. Then do it for a second week. Once your body chemistry has normalized, you won't feel compelled to masturbate all the time because your body won't crave that chemical balance anymore--it will be used to the normal chemical balance instead.

    And yes, it's going to take a LOT of self control. If you have a significant other, ask for help. If you have a buddy that you can be frank with about it and talk to about it, talk to him (or her) about it and have them help you control it.

    try engaging in alot of activities that wont let u b all by urself. play long tv games with friends that are exciting u wont know time has gone, by the time u know it u should have gone a day or 2 without masturbating. and b4 u know it, u get a week off without doing this. try it, it just might work.:wink:

    Heh, having dealt with addiction before, im aware of what is and isnt addiction and also aware that cold turkey is rarely the way to go, been there done that (and before people write me of as a smack head it was when i was about 13 and to perscription meds)



    yeah thats what im doing at the moment, not doing it anywhere near as much now, but still daily, not sleepin at night is the main probelm, im busy enough in the day just at night, but thats insomnia for you
