Having thought about this Rep thing i will wait to hear what Rob E says about it. All the hard work he puts into this place i think i owe him that. I think we all owe him that. I also think The Mod's Rep should be started at 1,000 for doing a very hard job and getting no respect. Rob is an interesting man in that he allways has something up his sleeve. I cant wait to see. Thats why i love this place. Its allways interesting:smile:

Hmmm...I don't understand this new feature but I'm not sure I like where it may be headed.

I previously belonged to a large discussion web site that had a rating system. Participants gained credibility in that system through length of membership, frequeny of posts and peer ratings. Trolls could be quickly identified, to be sure, but what worries me is that I saw that system abused to blackball non-conformists who didn't subscribe to groupthink or kiss the ass of popular posters or moderators.

Suffice it to say I no longer participate on that site.
