One last thing I didn't explain clearly-
Once you develop your ass muscles (glutes in back and hip flexors in front), they'll likely take over your lower spine alignment and lead to posture problems, which will eventually lead to back pain, etc...
Make sure you mix in something like yoga or pilates to keep that from happening. Most everybody has that issue to some extent, but it's a real problem for people who've overdeveloped their backsides. Think of the ass version of the gym ape who has huge pecs, and no back muscles, if that helps.
