He actually uploaded a pic (then quickly deleted) of reposting his wife's post with the grindr and scruff icons on top

Just to add some clarification it wasn’t months. It was days. Unfortunately people on here were spamming both of their pages. With Christy getting comments about him being on Grindr (she was even responding to them, clearly unaware of what was happening), and on his page everyone was commenting “we support you Ryan.” Or “it’s okay to come out we love you” and afterwards it was a wrap. Kind of felt bad because they had just ‘gotten’ back together. Before this mess they had broken up for another unknown reason and she had been shading him none stop. But I think they decided to give it another chance due to his persistence. But after the Grindr thing, it’s a closed door. And they both turned to god for guidance.
Oh wow yea, definitely not an admirable move from fandom, being all up in his business trying to be supportive like that, especially in such a public way. I always see him being shit on over on X, so seems like he can never catch a break no matter what happens

Wow. I didn’t know this is what happened. No wonder he 1. backed out of the Eddie and Tommy storyline at the last minute, and 2. he looks so miserable lately.
As fans it’s not our place to intervene (like they did), but I wish he found his way out of the closet sooner rather than later, because that’s no way to live.
I think it’s 1/3 putting up a straight voice, 1/3 getting his character’s tone of voice stuck like Austin Butler with Elvis, and 1/3 his deep depression voice.
Holy shit. I just got caught up that he is using Grindr. I wonder if he ever hook up with anyone in Grindr. He is like one of my dreamy guys.
Now on the flipside. The question becomes if he was actually putting on a less masculine or urban voice to appeal to a "white audience". If you are POC, you know what I'm talking about lol. I noticed he did hang out with a lot of white guys earlier in his career as he got his footing in Hollywood. So he had to assimilate somewhat.
I say this because Ryan grew up in an urban environment and around POC (black people mostly). When I hear him now. He definitely sounds like most Latinos who are from that area of Sacramento. Honestly this may just be his true voice.
side note: are we 100% sure that the grindr thing happened? it wasn't just a group of fans making this up? Did someone actually see it happen? Thanks
