Wow. I didn’t know this is what happened. No wonder he 1. backed out of the Eddie and Tommy storyline at the last minute, and 2. he looks so miserable lately.

As fans it’s not our place to intervene (like they did), but I wish he found his way out of the closet sooner rather than later, because that’s no way to live.

I think it’s 1/3 putting up a straight voice, 1/3 getting his character’s tone of voice stuck like Austin Butler with Elvis, and 1/3 his deep depression voice.

I noticed he did hang out with a lot of white guys earlier in his career as he got his footing in Hollywood. So he had to assimilate somewhat.

I say this because Ryan grew up in an urban environment and around POC (black people mostly). When I hear him now. He definitely sounds like most Latinos who are from that area of Sacramento. Honestly this may just be his true voice.

I noticed he did hang out with a lot of white guys earlier in his career as he got his footing in Hollywood. So he had to assimilate somewhat.
