i mean these type of gays were alive during the AIDS crisis. The inconsiderate usually white cis gay men who didn’t stop going to bathhouse/ having unprotected sex and didnt care cause it was only the lower classes poc gay and trans folk getting sick at first. They only started caring when it started hitting them.

How was it inconsiderate? During the AIDS crisis, if two consenting gay guys wanted to have unprotected sex, they were free to do so. It's called two people knowingly doing high-risk behavior, and it should be allowed. If a gay guy during that time was worried about HIV and chose not to have unprotected sex, that's his choice as well.
HIV isn't an airborne virus. How is there any comparison between HIV and COVID?

My comparison is that in both cases people didn't start taking things seriously until it was impacting someone they knew or themselves. This has always been the case for people who has some degree of privilege.

Because in the early years of the AIDS crisis there were no diagnostic tests available, so by the time you knew you had it you were pretty much a dead man walking. So guys who went to bathhouses and had risky unprotected sex could then infect later partners who were being relatively safe by, say, only having sex with known partners. Of course it's not the same as Covid, but inconsiderate nonetheless.
