Not sure if this has been mentioned in the 7 pages of movies (didn't want to read them all) but Gattaca with Ethan Hawke has some good funny comments by the doctor character bout the dude's big dick. No footage showin it of course. And a pretty good movie to, I own it and the soundtrack too.

Thanks, mindseye, I just read your posting re. 'still standing' and I clicked to it to hear the son explain that he 'stood out' in the showers and the big deal his mom and dad made over it. The main subject of the show is dick size and all its ramifications! It seems like the general population is finally accepting the fact!

Last night I saw the DVD "Election" (that's an 'l') with Mathew Broderick. The tall football player who had broken his leg and Mathew, the teacher, had gotten to run for student counsel president, was shown in bed the night of his winning.

He was so pleased with himself and was thanking God in his prayer. He was listing all his blessings and included "and thank you that I have such a big dick". I thought this the funniest thing in the movie!

I never watch "Friends" but I've seen a short vid on the internet from the show where one of the girls is talking to the guys and gals about the "tip of thumb to tip of index finger" measurement for penis length.

Naturally the audience is hysterically laughing (one of the reasons I don't watch sitcoms) while everybody sits around looking at the length of their stretched thumb and finger.

Then one of the guys looks frustrated, as if the distance isn't long enough, and asks "Can I use both thumbs?"

I just measured using this method and it was accurate

Donk: This topic actually has come up before. (Don't worry--I'm not one of those forum Nazis that has a fit whenever someone happens to bring up a repeat topic. I'm just mentioning it.) But, surprisingly, I don't recall anyone ever mentioning this scene, which must be one of the earliest overt penis size references to appear in film.

In the movie "MASH", there is a scene where a bunch of guys are lined up to take turns peeking through a hole in the shower tent. When someone asks what's so interesting, someone explains that the guy in the shower is "the best equipped dentist in the whole goddamn army" and he is quite the ladies' man. One of the guys, amazed after looking through the peephole, remarks "I'd like to see it angry!" Sadly, the well-hung dentist later commits suicide. Guess he could have used some support from LPSG.

It was indeed the dentist nicknamed Painless.
The soldier who says he would like to see it angry says it to Radar, played by Gary BUrghoff in both the film and the TV series. And Radar's character nods is nervous agreement.
Radar Gay? Bi/ Curious? Or just impressed?

In reading the first several posts on this ten year old thread I was struck by the implication that Donk thought Painless actually committed suicide. Hawkeye and the others tricked him into believing he was taking a euthanizing drug and ceremoniously committing suicide. But it was just a sedative and a ploy to have the good dentist wake up with Lt. Maria Schneider (Jo Ann Pflug) in bed with him, so he could get over the notion that he had turned gay (his reason for wanting to commit suicide in the first place.) The movie's final reference to Painless' outsized penis is the ethereal, faraway look on Lt. "Dish" Schneider's face the following morning as her chopper lifts off for Seoul and the end of her tour of duty.
