My MD told, when I told him I bled, "Nobody has bled to death thru their urethra, just grip the shaft and shove harder." I was recovering from Prostate surgery and not getting good urine flow. Had to do it many times with 16 French catheter. Loved it so much I am up to 36 F. with graduated ribbed sounds. It is one of the greatest sex play events I have ever experienced. Keep things sterile, and shoot for the MOON. If you do it right you will be "shooting" that's for sure.

i had a catheter once after surgery. that's the last time anything gets pushed in and pulled out of my dick. that shit hurt.

I had a catheter once too. It is very different from a sound. A sound is smooth steel. A catheter is rubber - which causes friction. The catheter was definitely a bad experience. I have never had an experience like that with sounding (unless you are using common household items of some kind).

I've been sounding off and on for a number of years. It gets to be very pleasurable, once you get used to. But, also, once the novelty wears off, it can get boring if you do it too much.

When you first start, the part of the urethra just inside then end of your cock is extremely sensitive, and any stimulation may make it feel irritated. But after you try sounding a few times, the excess sensitivity starts to go away, and it feels a lot better.

The rest of the urethra is not quite so sensitive, at least until you get to the part that curves upward toward the prostate.

As long as you practice common sense and good hygiene and don't insert anything into the bladder, the risk of infection is relatively low. Bladder infections are possible, however, and they need to be treated with antibiotics if the occur. I've been sounding for years and have never had one.

The best thing to use is a stainless steel sound. There are a number of web sites that sell them. chaseunion is one.

If you're determined to insert something into your bladder, about the only thing that's safe would be a sterile catheter. They can be purchased from the same web sites that sell sounds. They are meant to be used once, and then disposed of.

The experience of sounding is physically pleasurable. For me it brings about an increase in the volume ejaculated, greater shooting distance, and a more intense orgasm.

Questions:
1. I use the vibration metal rod. I can curve it upward and pass the prostate area, and then it seems to touch a wall... I believe it's the bladder..., correct? So I should not go further?
2. I watch a clip (http://m.yourporno.com/video/1916656/sweetie-pie-inserting-a-rod-into-nytch-s-cock), at the end, it shows a lady sounds the man very deep, and makes him squirted uncontrollably? I love to experience this.. Any idea?

I just started sounding and have been amazed just how easy and relatively painless it is. As a beginner, I find it really stimulating but am looking to learn how to increase the pleasure through technique. Any suggestions?

Same here! I want to increase the rod size, and sound deeper... I watch this clip, and not sure how to get squirted uncontrollably like the man in the clip... http://m.yourporno.com/video/1916656/sweetie-pie-inserting-a-rod-into-nytch-s-cock

I used to use sterile silicone lube but it wasn't slick enough, strangely. I quit sounding because I used a small rosebud sound and it went into my bladder and I didn't know it and when it came out i bled a little!!! SUPER SCARY!! Went to the doctor right away and after pee tests I was 100% fine and no blood was in my urine. I sounded again a few years later and something hurt on the way in, and when I pulled the sound out (same rosebud as before) blood followed. VERY SCARY ROUND 2!!! So I threw that fucking thing out.

If it's too small you might not feel it passing through your prostate. I later found a larger smoothly finished rod that's a bit bigger than that rosebud sound, and feeling it "enter" your prostate is a sexually stimulating experience that is just unreal. Go SLOW OMG I can't stress slow enough.

One tip is to let the sound naturally "fall" into you without you pushing it in. After much debate of if I want to try it again, last year major precum was oozing out and that proved to be the best lube for sounding I ever tried. Plus you know for a fact that your urethra is being lubed up the way your body intends it to be, so given that fact, a smallish sound entering your cock and prostate while precum is oozing out of you isn't all that bad ;)

Be careful!

I started inserting things in my penis when I was about 13 years old. I started using the family thermometer as probably everybody else has tried. It burned after when I peed but felt better after I ejaculated. After that it was a search for new items to insert. Anything smooth and with a small diameter was fair game. Finally I found my favorite up in the cupboard near the drink glasses. I don't know how they got there but I found some glass stir sticks. Yes, I know they are dangerous but back then then they were the best thing I ever used. They were just the right diameter and felt so fucking good in my urethra. So nice and smooth when I was fucking then in and out of my peehole. And small enough to allow me to cum while they were still in. The discomfort was minimal after I took it out. I used them for about 20 years without knowing that other people actually put items in their peeholes too. I never got an irritation or infection from using them. I always used my precum and saliva for lube. Although it has been a long time since I have put anything in my penis, I still desire the sensation from time to time.

My partner and I have a long rubber catheter that he plays with sometime. When he uses it I can suck the piss out of his dick thru this thing...It's really hot..
