Andy Whitfield would make a good James Bond.

I wonder how they got all the elements "right" for the show - acting, dialog, sets, lights. I've looked at other vids of Whitfield acting and he's nowhere as good as in Spartacus. For some reason the series brings out the best in everyone.

I have just finished watching episode 19 on Netflix, I really like this show and all of the plotting and scheming, it's supposed to be a depiction of what it was like back in those days. The blood scenes at times were a bit much to watch, but after a while it became just another element of that time and place in the arena and didn't bother me any longer.
