one of the emperiors wives wanted a gladiator and to help pic which one she wanted, she asked the guys to removes there grone clothes. this guy was pick because of his large cock. all the guys were in envy. then in the episode, the guy betrayed Spartacus, and was tied up and cock cut off as punishment.
my husband loves this series, and I can understand why. But there's way too much blood and gore for me...

I love the show. The historical aspect is a bit questionable at times. The aspect of circumcision bugs me. At that time, the practice was only evident in the Arabs, Egyptians(excluding the Greek Ptolemaic era,the practice declined then),Hebrews(Jewish people), and a various few others. The Gauls(British, German and Spanish), Greeks and Romans were not known to practice it. They abhorred it actually. Sorry for my little rant. I am a Anthropology major. My minor is History. So, yeah. ..The level of gore in the show does not bother me. The Gladiator games were bloody. So, it should be shown the way it was.
