Surgery scars

On the very long list of things I might care about in a partner, scars are very far down the list

I have a huge scar on my scrotum from a spider bite that almost killed me 3 yrs ago. :)

ow,ow,ow ow owww oowwww oowwwwwwch!!!!

I think i'd rather be forced at gun point to drive a rusty nail through my sack than get bit by a spider down there.

glad u and ur boys survived the attack though

I have several large scars on my upper chest that drive me up the wall every damn day from constant itching/sharp shooting pains.

But the ladies seem to be fascinated by them!!

Damn, I would hev never noticed that one...just thought it was his treasure trail. He is fuckign HOT! Are you a doctor or did you have testicular cancer? How the did you know what a RPLND was? One of my older cousins had that surgery but unfortunately it had already spread and the dude died from it...at age 20.

Jeepguy,
First of all, I'm really sorry about your cousin. TC has about a 95% cure rate these days if correctly and promptly treated. Tragically, guys get misdaignosed and lose precious weeks taking antibiotics or, perhaps even more common, fail to notice a change in size, consistencey, or a lump or they notice but are ambarrassed to tell their parents and/or be examined and delay diagnosis that way. All boys need to be taught to check themselves monthly and promply seek medical attention if anything changes. Doctors need to have a lower threshold for ordering an ultrasound which is pretty definitiive diagnostically.
No, I'm not a physician (am a Ph.D.) but have worked in medical settings quite a bit and also had a TC scare a couple of years ago. Whenever, I have a medical threat I always research it thoroughly as I have been misdiagnosed a number of times and really don't trust the medical profession. So after that scare, I happened to see that model again and realized the the scar pattern was consistent with first having had an orchiectomy, the diagnonal scar on the lower belly resembling an appendectomy or hernia repair scar, then an RPLND, the long midline incision. It could have been something else but odds are...
At any rate, from the responses it sounds like you don't need to be concerned about your scars reducing your attractiveness.

I have had two kidney transplants. Bacicly I have a 10" scar on both sides of my abdomen. The first one the guy did a really neat job and it goes from the base of my penis over to my right hipbone. It is hardly noticable. With the second they cut more toward my naval and went farther up and I think it looks bad, They stapled the damn thing together so it looks liek I was a victim of a shark attack. Speedos are out of the question, and I wore a rash guard on the beach with my board shorts last summer to cover it up. :frown1:

My favorite work out buddy had open heart surgery two years ago. He's buff and beautiful, but was very embarrassed by the obvious red scar between his pecs. He now has an "artful" tattoo (tasteful, not too large) that incorporates the scar. No one can tell he's had his chest cracked. Personally, I'd wear an open-heart surgery scar with pride, showing if off whenever possible. But that's me.

I'm about to have lower back surgery; I wonder what my "small" incision scar will look like? But, at 56, who really cares?:biggrin1:

Mine is very faint, but also covered with a small patch of hair just above my butt, lol. My apendectomy (sp?) scar is also very faint and difficult to see unless real close.

Anybody wanna look? :biggrin1:

That is exactly why I check my sea kayak for spiders every time I get in it. I am scared a black widow is going to take up residence in that thing and crawl up the leg of my board shorts and bite me.

I got 3 surgical scars on each leg: hip, quad and hamstring. Also, left ankle and 5 little scars on the back of my right hand when I had it stitiched up a couple of years ago, after dropping a glass behind the bar and attempting to catch it

but your list is only 2 items long:

1) pulse

2) breathing

:biggrin1:

You make me sound like a slut sometimes, I love it. I'm not really picky about BOTH of the above, I usually assume if you have one, you have the other, so I just check for one.

There are massage techniques to make scars less visible and to break up the granulation of the scar tissue. Trust me on this...it works!!! You cannot tell from the pics...and barely in person, but I have a huge scar on my scrotum from a spider bite that almost killed me 3 yrs ago. NOW, after self treatment *I learned in college the treatment technique* you cannot see it and actually no one can tell unless I point it out. The only difference now is...my left nut hangs slightly lower than the right. Before it was the right one that was lower.

All is in perfect working order...and no one can tell...so I'm pleased. :)

A spider bite there...I'm glad you are alive to tell us about that, one can only imagine how that occured...lol
My scars are old, not usre if that would help now, besides like I mentioned they no longer bother me.

you wanna really be freaked out... google brown recluse... I was WAY lucky.

I've got two scars on my face, two hernia scars from my youth and a few on each forearm from an accident in my teens. Took a while to get used to having the facial scars (one there since I was a kid, the other from when I was a late teen). They don't bother me anymore and no one seems to ask or wonder about them.

You make me sound like a slut sometimes, .

would love to be involved in your conversion to full time slut

but on topic:

scars don't bother me at all, even branding is kind of cool, but I have been noticing appendecotomy scars recently because someone very close to me has one and I'm suprised at how many guys have had their appendix removed, i never realized how common that is and seems to happen mostly to younger guys.

i have 2 scars on my groin that can be seen through my pubic hair from 2 undecended testicles opperations i have one when i was 5 and the other when i was 10 , they are 1 1/2 inchs each
