I'm not trying to be vague. you know I'm usually pretty damned blunt. But Freddie asked "no names," so that's about as blunt as I can get.

I think Freddie probably got volunteered by the team to test the waters here. I think several reports have most likely been made, about specific posts, and the moderators are evenly split on how to handle it. I think they will most likely make a few decisions after this thread has been up for a while. I think this is a critical mass decision that they are contemplating, and will evolve the site closer to a social networking site, or devolve the site closer to its origins. It's either going to be a place to LOL at your friends, count to 25,000, and repeat the OHMYFUCKINGGODHEATHER mantra; or a place where the big dogs can debate serious issues in a sink-or-swim manner.
But that's just my opinion.

This is an adult site. The posters here are adults - I don't know about you guys but profanity is part of a good proportion of my adult conversation. I don't want to be told here of all places how to use different types of language. I have posted to other sites where I have had to be more careful in my language, but on those sites is has been the case from the start and sexual swear words were not part of the on topic content of the site.

The hypersensitivity is going off the charts lately in a variety of areas and I'm loath to cater those with such delicate sensibilities. This is an adult site and people should not come to it expecting pablum.
