The problem with finding info on the general public's anatomy is that things don't always line up. It's best to get to know your own body, b/c so much we read about female anatomy isn't applicable to everyone.

For your reading - the cervix is actually bipassed during sex with a long penis. The vaginal cavity enlongates and will stretch upward into the body cavity to accomodate.

According to this web site Sex Positions Guide they rate positions for penetration depth, and they referred to reverse cowgirl as "rodeo" position. It got 4 stars for penetration depth. Doggy style got 4.5 stars for penetration depth. This is a really good web site for looking at many different positions, and they are all rated on penetration depth, difficulty for giver/receiver, and several other factors.
