How isn't it? Being gay doesn't even mean you HAVE to enjoy penetrative sex. Sides are a thing (ie guys who don't enjoy topping or bottoming). It's not an inherent part of being gay, so yes the question is the same. Lol
I guess the straight version would be asking a guy if he likes to get pegged. It doesn’t cross people’s minds to ask because they can make a pretty good guess unless something would suggest otherwise. But topping and bottoming aren’t what I’d call “sexual positions“ per se, in that context.

In spite of being a star and a well known guy who is not only praised and lionised due to his enthralling voice and dance and acting prowess but also because of his glowing and evident beauty, he is grounded, easy going and down to earth, I mean he is not the average arrogant full of himself preening star who flaunts about his stardom and brags about being better than others just because of money and fame thus making him even better and more desirable than he already is.
