I lost a lot of sensation when i went from high cut to low cut but not when i went from uncut to high cut. Lots of intense sensation contained in that inner skin.
If you are cut high then you aren't missing out on much. If you are cut low (less than 1cm) then you are missing out on a lot.

There's this study. This along with a huge amount of anecdotal evidence makes a compelling case that removing all the inner skin leads to an increase in intercourse duration. Sensation is subjective and harder to prove but ask any guy who got a revision from high to very low and he will almost certainly tell you that he lost a noticeable amount of sensation.

I was uncircumcised the first 20+ years of my life and then circumcised while in the military (not by choice) that left me with a “low-cut: circumcision some 20 years ago. The sudden change was not as drastic for me as it may have been for other males who have had the procedure done later in life. There is a sensitivity adjustment for many in the first few months or year. I’ve surmise that we are all subjective as to what we think looks good and what feels good when you are having sex with our penis. My adjustment was slightly less drastic in that from an early age I began keeping my foreskin retracted at first it was very on and off and then later almost became a permanent state of my foreskin. My retraction efforts were at first done for wanting to look like my father, he is not circumcised but he kept his foreskin retracted so it was sort of “like father like son” for me. As I entered Jr high and high school, I was already socially conscious that I was in a significant minority in the penis appearance department when shower time came around after PE and sports. Luckily by that age, my foreskin was already staying retracted in almost all instances and so I passed, I assume, as a loosely circumcised with a little cuff skin that sat behind the rim of the glans.


I’ve read everyone’s inputs and for me PermanetlyBareKnob and Suter82 touched on many of the same sensation I could significantly relate to with regards to the foreskin and how it felt brushing against the glans with some differences on my part. My early masturbation methods did mostly involve the foreskin going back and over the glans.


That changed once I got free movement of my foreskin after I tore an adhesion that joined the foreskin to the sulcus of the glans. I had no idea that there was a rim underneath the adhesion or that I had all that inner foreskin. The tearing of the adhesion not only helped me keep the foreskin retracted better but I also began to alter my methods and was no longer using the foreskin as I had previously done. My method evolved even more as I developed a predisposition to just keeping the foreskin back and just stroking and rubbing at mid-shaft of my penis to not allow the foreskin to go over the glans. I found I enjoyed pulling down on the foreskin so much more than any direct stimulation to the glans. On the up stroke, the foreskin would bunch up on the sulcus of the glans giving me a nice pressure sensation with each up stroke. Precum was a much bigger player for me then as I would use the fluid to wet as much I could the inner foreskin. I would just stroke the inner foreskin using a hand grip and sliding the hand up and down to where it would bump against the rim of the glans and rub the inner foreskin.


Moving forward, it took me a couple of years to alter different methods to define the ones that gave me the best sensations I enjoyed best. The low-cut left me with about 1/2" of inner foreskin, not enough to really wrap my hand around anymore and rub. I still use my thumb and finger at mid-shaft to stroke for the reason I found that there must be some nerve that runs underneath the shaft that gets really stimulated when I rub the urethral tube area. The frenulum was never a direct focal point for me, but it has played a bigger part now with what is left. If I haven't gotten any precum yet, I well use some lube which I don't like to use and wet the remaining inner foreskin along with the rim of my glans. I will make an O with my fingers and stroke the inner foreskin and using my fingers to bump against the rim, however the fluid dries much more quickly now as I don’t produce precum fast enough so I must add to the lube.


I've learned to adapt to no longer having the foreskin and inner foreskin which was central to my stimulation but I've also found that my frenulum has really kicked in for me. The glans is sensitive, but it takes a bit more work. Either way, for a guy to have an orgasm, a foreskin is not required but for me the foreskin carried some unique sensations with more options to work with that I can no longer replicate. I do miss that quite a bit. Aesthetically, I preferred the old cuff of skin to having a dark scar ½” above the rim of the glans. I would be very interested in hearing how it is for someone who has a high cut. They have a lot more inner foreskin how does it factor in for them.

Personally, since I masturbate with the glans uncovered (in the sense that I move the foreskin which, however, always remains under the glans, without going up and down), I believe that the frenulum plays a really important role. By joining inner foreskin with glans, it necessarily stimulates the latter. When it tore there was a lot of blood but it healed pretty quickly. Up until that point I'd always had problems with tight foreskin especially when fucking, but afterwards it seemed to pull back easier. I guess it didn't reconnect completely.

Quite a lot, if you allow some of it to roll over the head it feels amazing. It's much easier to cum by using the foreskin than without it. Without it, you need lub and it takes a lot longer to cum. But many times I do jack off like a circumcised man with the foreskin back and a cock ring using lube, just because the orgasms feel deeper with the fingers rubbing directly against the head and inner skin. It just takes longer. I have experienced both the uncircumcised and the circumcised orgasm, and the circumcised orgasm is better. It just takes a lot longer and you have to work harder to get it.

I don't think so, for me at least that's not the case. Especially considering that I consider preferable, as well as more hygienic, to urinate with the foreskin retracted and therefore with the glans uncovered.
