I prefer spontaneous, yep sometimes you end up in flames. Yet, if you know your own heart is in the right place, what other people make of the written word is usually to do with their own emotions at their time of reading the question, fired up or lay back.
You will never get a predicted behaviour or response from the planet we live on, yet some think they will feel safe knowing, if someone tells them all will be well, it will be. Myself, I agree, you ask the person you are intimate with before anyone else.
