So growing up I always wore briefs/boxer briefs with my dick pointed up which makes me think that’s the reason I have a slight upcurve now. I hated the feeling of my dick flopping around. I also had no frame of reference that I was hung til I was 21-22.

Now, call it exhibitionism or whatever, if I can freeball, I’ll do it. At the gym if I’m wearing sweats or thicker shorts not a problem. If it’s leg day then I’m either wearing compression tights or I’m wearing a thong under some loose shorter shorts. Day off I’ll either wear boxers or nothing. Night out I’ll wear something sexy for a bit of fun. At work since I wear a suit I have to wear boxer briefs or I’m just flopping around. One of my new coworkers wears just boxers and is quite obvious in his tighter pants. So fairly early on I decided to show him up. Everyone in my department looked at my crotch that day including him and noticed after he started wearing boxer briefs.

I don’t think it’s unhygienic or unclean because I shower at least twice a day and gives “him and the boys” a chance to breathe and relax. That’s what they were meant to do. Just wish I grew up in a household that didn’t shame sex or the natural body. Think I would have had a better attitude about myself way earlier on.

I'm cut, and hanging loose did not go well the first time that I tried it. If you keep trying it, you will eventually get used to freeballing. Start by doing it at home before you do it at work. You could begin by wearing boxers.

My first experience with wearing boxers was that the ridge of my dickhead did not like rubbing against the fabric as it moved around in my pants. There were too many unwanted erections. Many years later, I decided that the briefs had to go, and I forced myself to transition to boxers.. A month later, I liked the loose feeling and knew that I would never go back to snug underwear. I occasionally freeball but only when wearing shorts in the summer. Tried it with jeans but I’m not comfortable doing it so it’s briefs with jeans. Shorts I wear in the summer are a softer material then jeans so much more comfortable but I’m still always worried about the zipper. Never worried about the outline anyone could possibly see. Around the house I'm naked or free-balling 95% of the time. When doing sports or when in town now a days I don't want to get arrested or hear comments. I always preferred briefs/boxer briefs. I have a pretty long bush, and the pubes would get caught in zippers and such without the junk being kept in place. I also hate the idea that there’s nothing but one’s outside pants to absorb precum from random boners.

That said, I freeball in swim shorts and board shorts when not swmming, whether I’m home or out. If they have a lining, it makes no difference. They’re kind of designed to be worn without underwear anyway.

And as I age, I tend to get a bit of jock itch without underwear. If I want to go commando, I’d feel I had to wash trousers/jeans/sweats between every wearing.
