What do you drive?

We've got a bunch of cars, mostly antiques though.

It's interesting reading these old threads just to see how many of the posters ended up banned.
It's because they did not have a nice enough car. BTW I had my second mid-life crisis last winter and bought a convertible.

I sold my 1991, gold, Cadillac Eldorado when I moved to Georgia in 2007. It needed engine work, had no a/c, and went thru 1-2 quarts of oil a month. That said, it was the second most comfortable car I have ever owned. It was like a Barcalounger on wheels. When I cruised on the open highway I felt like I was on the freeway of car love.

Since moving to Georgia I alternate between moms car, a 2002 Mercedes Benz C230 and dads car, a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Ok, that makes sense; but it should probably be a temp ban. That would allow the banned person to buy a nice car and have the ban lifted.

I've never known anyone who bought a convertible in the winter!

Well I bought it shortly after I bought my house! The cab fares from HNL to Kalaniki were killing me.

I drive a 1992 Volvo 760 wagon with 226,000 miles.. I've put all of them on it too. I bought it new out of the showroom in late 1991.

My mechanic says with proper care it'll hit 400,000 too. They no longer make cars that have the styling of my wonderful glorified shoe box.

My automobile is an extension of my personality. 'Tis a thing of beauty.

Me either but, I forgot he needed a car for Honolulu. Buying a convertible in NYC in the winter is just crazy.

The car I miss the most is my 94 Volvo 940 GL Turbo wagon. I bought it in fall 2003 cause it was what I could afford. At first I hated the soccer mom car, until I went antiquing in it, and realized it was the car I was born to drive. There is something about those Swedish leather seats that cup your butt and gently support your back like the hand of God.:rolleyes: As for it's interior hauling capacity, I would put it up against any mini-van or SUV.

I totaled it on black ice on the NJ Turnpike in January 2005. That car saved my life. I was out of work for 3 months after that accident and still have mild PTSD as a result.

I drive a 2000 honda minivan that is absolutely trashed. I've had three kids grow up in it. It's at 160,000 miles and I intend on keeping it running until my kids are teenagers - why ruin another car?

While my van is pretty gross, it has cost me very little to keep it on the road which is a very very good thing.

- my dogs like it too

I love Volvos, when we were kids in the 70's and 80's we had Volvo estates, the marketing team really pushed the safety aspect towards families with kids, and it worked. The car was like a tank, but reliable, comfortable and somewhat charming. I always remember the 'Lucas' logo on the headlights. Now I drive a VW Golf (Rabbit I think in the states) GT Sport. Goes like the shit man!

I'd definitely buy a convertible in the winter. I'll be driving the next winter anyway, right? The best thing, though, is the timing -- if there's any time that a dealership is desperate to get a convertible off their lot, it's in the winter.

Well, I know that the OP said "hung guys", but I'll answer anyway, lol.

Back and forth to work, I drive a 98 Geo Prism. My other vehicle is a 2001 Ford F250, 4x4. Use it for pulling the horse trailer, getting feed, and traveling. It's got a V10, so not exactly great on gas, lol.

Volvo 760 Turbo Alpine Package with red leather interior.

SWEET!
I used to have a '97 Volvo S90. Burgundy, light tan interior. Used to have a '93 Volvo 850 GLT 5-speed manual. Very rare car. I loved both of my Volvos. I just decided I needed something nicer, newer and faster.
So, now I have a '02 Cadillac Seville STS as my daily. Fast, comfortable, kickin' Bose stereo, sunroof, and that big back seat ;)
I also have my grandparents '80 Cadillac Seville. White leather and fur on the doors and an 8 track player!
