That sounds wonderful.

I find canned soup to be nasty in general, but I love Campbell's Select Mexican Chicken Tortilla Soup (simmering as I write). I've never read the label because i'm sure whatever's in it will preserve me better than formaldehyde but it is sublime.

I prepared a baked chicken with celery, potatoes, mushrooms and onions baked along with the chicken.

I also made biscuits, sweet corn, apple pie, tomatoe and avocado salad. I also made strawberry Jello for my snacking.
The apple pie is for the 14 year old. I rarely eat desserts.

However, what I ended up having was home fries and a chili cheese dog and Pomegranate juice. I don't know why I made two dinners. I just had this crazy craving for those items and that's what I had.

The other items go into the refrigerator and will be eaten tomorrow.

Hugs and Kisses,

Karmen

Dinner for me tonight was Mexican hot dogs and a variation on macaroni and cheese. Mexican hot dogs are wienies sliced down the middle on one side, then stuffed with strips of cheese, wrapped in corn tortillas, secured with a toothpick, and deep-fried. They are known in some restaurants around here as "Sarape Dogs." The macaroni and cheese is actually cooked shell macaroni with tomato sauce and lots of cheese! It is comfort food, and is something my mom used to make us kids when we were younger.

I had McDoanlds..."
One and a half chicken wraps and a small chocolate shake..."

yikes..
just made a costco run,
so we had, (I ALWAYS DO THE COOKING)
low fat chicken sausages, Fresh vegtable stir fry,
green salad w/ lite dressing.
water.
mmmmmmmmmmm
but than again, I eat six times a day.

1 can Broadcast Corned Beef Hash
2 pieces corn bread with butter and grape jelly

Both were cooked in foil pans in the oven because I didn't want to dirty a pan. I'm single, that's allowed.

NY Strip Steak, Steamed Broccoli drizzled with garlic and butter, and some sort of baked red potato dish that my roommate made that involved soaking cubed red potatos in red wine vinegar for an hour and then baking them with olive oil for about 90 minutes. They were deeelicious.
