Ms. Swift is angry about recent explicit photos of her that were AI generated. This led to the white house taking notice and maybe making laws against and calling on Congress to look into this. This is just the US. I don't know about the issue in other countries.

This would be interesting if it ever happens. It's a bigger conversation with fake news too. I am not a fan of overt government control.

I dont know how I feel about this. It's fantasy. It's one thing if ppl were saying it is real. But that is not the case.

What do you guys think ?

Personally I found it weird that the usa government cares about it, if it was about a regular person I would understand, by fake stuff with celebrities have been made since forever , even deep fakes videos with selena gomez and other girl I saw. Since when the corrupted usa government cares about their illuminati puppet having fake nudes of her on internet? , they made a big deal cuz those have been posted on twitter which is a largely used platform. Civitai is FULL of fake nudes of celebrities and no one had a single problem. But of course when it comes to twitter it must be a big deal . I believe she does not care about it, just wants to be relevant at the moment, if it was Kim Kardashian I would doubt it was this big of a deal. People will forget about this drama in february when they will have the superbrawl stuff.

Also I don't know if the person who made those ai fakes made them because he has fantasies with her , or simply to make fun of her. But let's be honest if she made a music video sexualy similar to those AI fakes pics that were made of her ( sexuality themes like cardi b , nicki minaj or sexxy red music videos) she would called " artistic music video" , but if some random people makes nudes AI of her , omg she gets upset "lemme sue someone".

I believe in absolute freedom (within reason and healthy moral frameworks) but I also feel that every individual should practice self awareness as well as self-other awareness meaning, if you're going to make something that you know someone else and/or people might find offensive, keep it to yourself and within your circle. Everyone in your circle should also practice the same awareness.

"A place for everything and everything in it's place"

Posting explicit images and offensive content so openly and in the general publics forums of high profile individuals is irresponsible.

I guess it's easier to blame it on her that we're at this point right now, but it was all started by the angry football fans who don't like her. They were doing revenge porn using AI and trolling swifties on twitter with it. Taylor is suing as a response to that behavior. Sure people can like or dislike her, but I can't get my head around why people are blaming her for this when she is the victim here.
As to why other celebrities (including her) not doing anything before this when their fakes have been around for a long time, well probably because there are no big group of people harrasing other people using said fakes.

While I hate to admit how hot AI images (not art, it isn't art let's not pretend it's art) can be... I have to say when my cock isn't throbbing to the fantasy of seeing Henry Cavill and Chris Evans finally embracing, it's hard to not see it was a pretty egregious violation of privacy. I mean making fakes in photoshop isn't all that morally great either, but the ease with which you can make porn of someone who... didn't consent to being in porn... the more I talk about it the yuckier it really is. I mean it's hot but at what cost?
I don't see the geinie going back into the bottle soon, bc the US govt is run by the elderly who I don't trust to unlock an ipad on the first try. So regulating artificially generated images... I just don't think they'll be able to stop it.

The Government sees a freedom and they want to legislate control over it. There are laws governing every single thing you do, and all the Government and its thugs need is a provocation and they will FIND the crime. A.I. scares them because they are old and it's seemingly out of their control. They created Taylor Swift as a useful tool to regulate a generation that feels bad that she is the target of fantasies by some useless mouthbreathers, or maybe her support staff created the "offensive" material themselves, because it is a means to an end. Look for the Bi-Partisan legislation curtailing Free Speech to be called "Swift Justice".

People should have the right to opt out. And women are at a disadvantage in society, even wealthy ones face physical threats just for dating a guy on a football team.

So I don't think all things are equal in this discussion. What's being done to Ms Swift has a level of sexual violence to it that doesn't really exist in the images on this forum of say, Tom Holland. He doesn't feel unsafe just because someone pictured him tied up by Henry Cavil.

To type into a prompt that you want to see a woman, who you dislike for no real reason, be brutally attacked and violated by a group of men is a level of intense hatred and then to take it to twitter to share and taunt other young women that you hope to sexually assault her it's an intense hatred towards someone who merely shows up to football games so I absolutely understand why she doesn't want to encourage/ignore that behaviour when it became such a media story.

Yes it should be. It’s not a case of “Governmental control”. It’s about protecting people from having their images falsified. The government already controls you in many ways that I’m sure you don’t even realize, so let’s not act like prohibiting ai generated nudes is some breach of trust to the people.

Again, I’m guilty of frequenting the AI section of this forum a lot and it’s indeed hot. But I know it’s ethically wrong as well.

I feel the same, I think it shouldn't be illegal to produce them per se but people shouldn't post them out of forums like these on massive public platforms.
This (sex forums etc) is the place to fantasize and we should keep those stuff here only.

Yep and it wasn't even her fault (I hope so) it's the NFL that decides who to give more spotlight and camera shots and who not to. They should be blamed for flashing her face every 0.069 milliseconds and fans should direct their anger at them.

It's funny that you picked as an example the male celebrity that never seems to leave the house without a bodyguard.

Some great, thoughtful, responses here.

I find a fair amount of the celeb content uncomfortable - imagining what if that was my face being used (innuendo intended) - but i agree that the genie is out the bottle now, and legislators are, mostly, tech-imcomptent geriatrics.
