Work travel to Berlin (2 weeks) and Prague (1 week) coming up. I'm free to pick my own accommodations as long as I stay relatively reasonable (nothing over $400/night). This will be my first time in both cities (and countries) but since it's a work trip, I have to well, work, during the day.
My workplaces are in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg in Berlin and New Town in Prague. What I'm thinking is to spend late afternoons and/or early evenings sucking dick to unwind and relax (anywhere between 4-9pm, not exactly the whole time, but preferably every night). I know there are saunas and similar places and I will likely check some out on the weekends.
Do I stay in the general area or are these business districts that empty out at night? I don't mind taking public transportation and would prefer to stay somewhere where I can enjoy my evenings. I'm thinking areas with a lot of foot traffic, a transport hub, tourist spots, or nightlife - somewhere where I can open the usual apps and my location would be convenient to go to.
