Crap, I'd LOVE to support a much more progressive candidate such as Bernie Sanders (and I did, in the primary, but that wasn't the candidate the DNC had in mind so...).
Or even more radical, a 3rd party such as the green party -- environmental issues remain a top, global concern, as well as social justice and equality.
But it's just not practical, and voting 3rd party ESPECIALLY in this election was just throwing a vote to Trump, because it undermines Biden's stronghold over #45. Damnit, Biden may not be exactly who some of us want, but I will PROUDLY support him and pray and plead and beg for his victory over the giant, lying, cheating whiny ass baby we have now.

I would agree.....but after seeing how drugs have destroyed my loves relationship with her youngest son of 5 boys....how it has devastated her heart, her tears....his using, lies, theft, turning to trafficking..it has gutted her..He is facing a prison sentence. It's terrible.
I am beyond words now to help. So many people now feel responsible for others adult actions.........In law, people use others actions as as defence for their own actions..
Just as well our returned servicemen did not use Hitler or the Emperor of Japan as their defence for their actions.
Otherwise, none of us would be here. NONE. I don't do drugs............I have tried them in the past......but I find, for me, I don't need them, does not make me a judge of others or their hardships.
Just that I am speaking from my little space in the world.
My little space does not need to agree with your little space 100% for me to understand

I have an estranged sister who has addiction issues, I've lost several friends over the years to several substances.
The thing is, if those substances were legal, and regulated with a system in place to HELP people who get addicted many if not all of them may still be alive.
If we didn't simply dismiss the addicted as "junkies" and blame them for "poor life choices" (because non-addicts *never* make bad decisions of their own
) this would be a completely different issue.

He has had us, friends, brothers extend a way out....multiple times. It's become a choice, his choice....not a forced choice.......not form us. We...his Mum has been cut off not for ignoring him, but for being there. We have been non judgmental........for years...........yet it's been used against us for not being supportive.
I'm not new to drugs....I am 62, my love is 60. We learned and experimented way back. But through the years, we saw friends die....our kids friends die. For us it did not become a habit...but it did not unfriend those who it had.
But the drug world has changed......
Overwhelmingly, I have found drugs to destroy lives, not enhance them. Does it make me a judge of a person, individual, their emotion, persona? NO.
My judgement on drugs, the substance............do not start using if you don't know when to stop. Never let a substance take control. Who has the intelligence?

I am not a liberal, but I have several liberal views. I am not a conservative, but I have several conservative views. By most Trump supporters and Neocons I would be categorized as a "Libtard" after they very begrudgingly said "thank you for your service"; in spite having previously voted for Bush, Dole, Bush once and then Obama based on how I felt about their abilities vice their politics. Last election I did not vote because both of the candidates looked down their noses at people like me. In hindsight I would have voted for Clinton had I known how toxic, unstable, illiterate, and fucking stupid this racist stuck up prick would be.
Right now Biden and Harris are exactly what the country needs and that was how I voted.
I voted for a person that is experienced, fully understands government and can compromise supported by a person that fully understands & embraces the law whom is also experienced and fully understands government. They are both sensible and moderate enough that they should be able to at least get us back on track.
Anything other than that and I would be pissing on not only my entire legacy but everyone who cannot defend themselves; and potentially the future of my family and their families.
This was not the election to make political statements about the two party system.
There is a lesson here for everyone and this election was about our survival, not just about politics.

Here in Australia it's compulsory to vote. We are sent in the mail a card with an individual scan thingy................. A bar code
...We are fined for not voting..........even though I believe people went to war before us to fight for the right to vote.............or not, if we so wish.
But today, we have nations offering $'s to buy what we fought to keep.
Whether it be millionaires or politicians. Only believe those who have struggled for all of us to live the life we do.
Example .............Rupert Murdoch was an Australian citizen.........He surrendered his Australian citizenship for greed alone........GREED. To become owner of FOX. One of his sons now wants no part of his fathers empire.
Human beings are vulnerable to emotion. Just so happens the first is Desire....Oh, crap...didn't I mention that one...probably because of it's ambiguity

Can semen be classed as a substance? I know this is not a womens issue as such......but it has just occurred to me, I think a woman's input is important here.

When is anger unjustified? When is it justified? These are questions i've found that america and the world in general refuse to ask let alone answer.
If people who look like you were regularly killed by cops and an entire political party fought to keep it happening for generations. Would you define the anger over that to be justified or unjustified?
If people who were your gender regularly were raped while many of the rapists who did it were protected by and promoted by that same political party. Would you define the anger over that to be justified or unjustified?
If people of your same sexuality were treated like less than human by the same political party and that political party fought against your rights traditionally. Would you define the anger over that to be justified or unjustified?
As you can see. There's a pattern here. Meaning it would be better and more efficient for me to just list the categories of people said political party has attacked historically, currently are attacking and by all accounts will continue to attack in the future. African americans, mexicans, mexican americans, asians, asian americans, jewish people, atheists, buddists, muslims, women in general, the lgbtq community, the poor, the middle class, veterans, the disabled, the elderly, latinos, schools, homeless shelters, mental health, healthcare, consumer rights advocates, unions, science, scientists, the lgbtq community, native americans, indians, indian americans and so on.
At one point, another or consistently. The same political party has, are and/or will attack members of those groups. So. I ask again. When is anger justified? When is anger unjustified?
The reason democrats aren't reaching and resonating with almost 50% of the population is because 50% of the population just flat out doesn't want to listen. Wants very badly to continue to dismiss and ignore large swathes of history. The history i just needed to point out.
To put things in further perspective. That political party has attacked all those groups of people but not all those groups of people have attacked that political party. Defense is not an attack. And most of those groups have been on the defense from those groups since day one.
So no. Both sides are not fine people.

crazy shit is bound to happen
As they say...it ain't over till isn't over. Until I see his lard-laden ass boarding that helicopter on January 20th and then hopefully on his way to an orange jumpsuit to match the rest of him, I won't rest easy. Plenty of fuckery left in him, his GOP enablers and his dictator-loving mob of violence-prone supporters which unfortunately consists of almost half of the United States. Even if it is officially called, there's still the issue of his accepting it as well as his cult's response and even then that still leaves more than two months left of this national nightmare where anything can happen. Even in his defeat, I still will find only small comfort.
Yeah, my hope for humanity is gone after 2020, the shred that remained anyway..
Small victories are still worth celebrating, though.. and I will wait on the edge of my seat to see whether or not I can in fact pop a bottle, and maybe some other substances to release the madness in my soul.
