She stabbed her husband as he raped her. A court sentenced her to death

A 19-year-old Sudanese woman has been sentenced to death for fatally stabbing the man she was forced to marry, who she says raped her as his relatives held her down.

The case of Noura Hussein has shone a spotlight on the issues of forced marriage and marital rape in Sudan, where the legal age of marriage is only 10 and marital rape is legal.

That is completely fucked . The one's they should be killing , are the idiot judges , in ,fact , ANY other vicious , moronic asshole , connected to this decision . In my view , every woman should have the right to defend herself , against rape , and , indeed other forms of assault , be they sexual ,or otherwise , by any means whatsoever, and if that means that she she has to waste the maggot responsible , too fucking bad . Sadly , there is little that we can do in realistic terms in Sudan , so my feeling is , that they will will murder this unfortunate young woman , and get away with it . Immense political pressure , harsh trade , and assistance sanctions perhaps , but then the death rate among children will skyrocket , and who wan'ts to be responsible for that . Regime change ? , maybe , but only if someone other than the U.S. shoulders the burden , their young men & women , have done enough . I do hope that somehow , by some miracle , Noura Hussein beats the hangman , and may he , whoever he may be , burn in the fires of hell .( supposing for a moment that it exists )

I hate the people who killed Chyna Gibson.
I hate Donald Trump and the 86% increase in crimes against the LGBTQ that has occurred since his election.

I hate people who take the lives of the LGBTQ community.

It's not wrong to hate these people. They brought it on themselves.

Hating an oppressor is the first step to overthrowing oppression. Calling out their privilege, their bigotry, their bais. their intolerance.

You as a heterosexual, cis, white male do not get to lecture me on "all hatred is bad, m'kay"
If you faced systematic and state-sanctioned oppression every day of your life you might see hate in a different light. You might see it as fuel to ignite change.

I didn't miss your point. I don't agree that Sam Bee should be embarrassed. I enjoy her No Fucks Given attitude and that she's speaking truth to power. I don't care about naughty words, I use them often myself. I don't use racial epitaphs though. Calling someone an Ape because of their skin-tone is inexcusable. Calling Ivanka a cunt for being complicit to her father's horrible policies while rubbing it in everyone's face that her family has nothing to worry about with her tone-deaf Instagram post, that was satire at it's s finest imo.

Personally I don't understand what the big deal is with the Cunt word, it's only in the US that we get our undies in a bunch up the ass over it. And ya know, I think people need to grow the fuck up about it.

I worry about the last two rulings handed down by the Supreme Court
One a clear sign that Roe v Wade might well be overturned.
The other a clear indication that LGBTQ civil rights take a back seat to bigotry masquerading as Christian faith.
