That's not hatred from Bill Maher. That's schoolyard bullying. Is it right to repeatedly, publicly speak disparagingly about someone's mother? Depends. Didn't that woman raise a bully? I don't think it's unfair to bully a bully. It's the thing they understand.

I can't/won't watch Bill Maher. Imo his show is super low brow discourse feigning high brow. I don't feel like he actually has a a halfway decent grasp on half the topics he rants about.

Phrenology, you're right. I often conflate the two, which isn't right at all. I don't think anyone considers it to be non-PC. I certainly don't. I just find it interesting. Not exactly a "fun fact", but interesting in that same way.
