As someone who watched all 10 episodes, I felt that it was so tightly written that a second season felt almost unnecessary. Kudos to the writers for being so thorough. It was the complete opposite from the unsatisfying ending given to Love Victor. In fact everything in Glamorous was tied up in a nice little bow by episode 9; the social media war and truce in the finale seemed like an unnecessary afterthought and just an excuse to let the camera roll for another 45 min. If a season 2 were to happen, we would likely see Zane's relationship with his NFL football father (which they teased in the finale) and how he interacts with his gay son. Some scenes between Kim Catrall and her ex, while her hired driver Teddy continues to make a play for Kim. (We all know they will end up together in the end, just like Elden the painter from Murphy Brown all those years ago). We would get a 'very special' trans episode focusing on Marco's sex change. The Alec Baldwin episode of Nip Tuck years ago was the only time I can think that network tv went there, so it is a topic ripe for exploiting. However the actress in Nip Tuck that played a trans women was a women already so it wasn't super realistic. Do I care about the black lesbians and their domestic bliss, breakup and so obvious reconciliation, ah no. Will we have to suffer through it, probably. Will Graham Parkhurst's character be willing to publicly date Marco as a female? We also saw nothing of Zane's love life in season 1. Who would he be paired with, the nerdy graphic artist that pined after Marco or maybe the silent Bob social media maven? Questions, questions...

I agree that a second season doesn’t seem necessary with the way this season ended. Id be very surprised if it does get renewed for a second season, mostly because the writing was so incredibly bad and most of the characters - particularly Marco, our lead - were just insufferably unlikeable.

I kinda feel like new characters will be introduced as Marco's love interests while Zane will be paired with Parkhurst,they could use the relationship between Zane and Parkhurst as a teaching moment about masc and masc relationship and how it could be just superficial leading to problems in their relationship thereby exploring love and personal character growth on both of them realizing beauty isn't just what a relationship needs and in the end,that could make or break the relationship

I like that idea of Zane and Parkhurst...especially in real life rarely if not at all, a masculine gay man like these two actors would ever find it desirable to have a relationship with a trans woman like Miss Benny.

I totally agree. In an article Zane admitted it took a lot of hard work to staying look 'that way' in front of the camera (on his own). Whereas Marvel/DC actors have constant trainers provided by the studios.

More importantly for someone with not a long career resumé Zane has demonstrated his acting range from dramatic scenes (Vampires) to comedic timing in Glamorous. Also, he performed on stage in Man from La Mancha.

Maybe not a "masculine gay man" but plenty of trans women get dick from straight and bisexual men most gays would never get a shot with. And plenty of bisexual guys love fem guys, femboys and traps too, sometimes exclusively. It's not as rare as you make it seem.
