When we got together in 1974, she was married but had already decided to move on, during the first two weeks when we had sex she didn't say anything about intercourse being painful. But by the end of our first month together I started to notice her grimacing when I entered her and while thrusting, I asked her what was wrong and she said that she was in pain. She thought that she had a vaginal infection and for the next 31 years she did have many vaginal infections that were treated, she also went to counseling about her past and pursued many other avenues. The medical professionals never asked her about my penis size, and it never ocurred to us either, until last year when after another unsuccessful try at intercourse, typically we tried intercourse once or twice every year, she was crying and said "Maybe you are just too big for me!" I got on the internet and Voila! too much girth is our problem. Not understanding the cause, we did not approach the problem correctly.

Perceptions:
I still remember the few times when we had successful intercourse with full penetration and wonderful orgasms on my part. What my wife remembers is that she was always in pain and she thought that sex was supposed to hurt, that was her experience.

Because she always experienced pain she became extremely hesitant to engage in anything other than oral sex and she is still working on this. She dilates her vagina daily, it's been over a year now, and the best we have done so far is to get me in half way, once, so she is still head shy.

At least we have identified the problem and she wants to be able to have intercourse with me, so things are looking up.
 
My 5.5 seems thin by comparison, checking my photo against yoiurs. I'm one of the other guys. I married my wife with the full knowledge that sex was painfull for her. We talked about it numerous times before we said our vows. We didn't get married because of great sex. We got married because of the level of love we had for one another. Five years later the sex is still infrequent and painfull, but the love side is going strong. No uterus in our relationship any longer. However, she does have vaginismus. She'd have trouble with a man with average girth, its just harder with me. If I could give up girth to make sex with the woman I love easy I would in a heartbeat. However, I wouldn't give up the woman I love for a woman who could handle my girth easily.

You have great girth no doubt, but you are trying to impale yourself with that ruler....still isn't even 8", almost there. If I was to bone press I would be at 8 3/4", but I call myself an 8" cause theres no reason to try and make myself bigger than I am. I would be lieing to myself, and that way I can say with pride that I am a full 8 inches.

i dont know about the rest of u but its kind of hard to take a pic and measure at the same time. Quino u must be blind if u say that isnt 8" also it isnt pushed into me u can see the bottom of the tape, and actually it is really 8.25" long, but like i said hard to take a pic and measure. Also was hard to keep hard while doing these things.
