Yeah my dads side of the family is super catholic and they used to be cool when I was young but the moment they found out I was gay the shunned me and I haven’t spoke to them in over ten years….what makes them hypocrites is that my cousin is a lesbian and they seem totally cool with her lifestyle but me? That's typical with society at large religious or not. I'm black and black people are SUPER HOMOPHOBIC. But only when it comes to men liking men. Lesbians is totally fine. Look at the outrage in the past couple of the years when it comes to trans its only trans women society has a problem with. But a woman wanting to be a man that's completely fine they can go into mens bathrooms play mens sports with no problem. The double standards and hypocrisy is crazy

I like in the uk it's the same here and I've travelled quite a bit its,the same every where. I was the most susprised when I travelled to Africa and the Caribbean thinking they would be extremely strict. But nope they're also cool with lesbians and women dressing like men and being masculine. But their hatred towards gay men is shocking.

Yeah I’m getting married in the next year or two and with all that’s going on we are scared to even hold hands in public it’s annoying and scary. Idk why ppl gotta hate us for loving who we love….i have an idea what the cause was but im not trying to get banned

Dude it's crazy because logically people are getting super mad over relationships that have absolutely nothing to do with them and has zero affect on their lives. I say it all the time ok you're mad but why because it actually doesn't affect your life and worse your mad about a stranger you don't knows love life.
