I wear all kinds of underwear: Briefs, Boxers, Boxer briefs, trunks. It doesn't really matter to me it just depends on my mood. I like briefs because oddly enough it makes my package seem bigger or the bulge I should say. This really shouldn't even be a question. Boxers are LAME. Boxer briefs are a pain. The only real man's underwear is white briefs ( or possibly gray) with a decent POUCH. 2xist and Cin2 get my vote.
And good for you, hot1234. More college guys should wear briefs. In the 80's, we all did. then the Boxer rebellion hit and that was that, I guess. I think we're due for some retro underwear.
Whatever you do, hot1234, do NOT let the guys in your dorm sway you away from wearin briefs. Maybe you'll convert some of them!

Got that right. NO young guy would be caught dead in old man boxers.

i'd say the uncool-ness comes from the just that tidy whities outlook. that and one generation just doesnt really think what their parent's generation wore is very trendy. I say the tide will switch and our kids will be wearing briefs.

I think part of this is that the old-fashioned full rise Jockey/FTL style briefs do, in fact, look a bit like a diaper. They don't exude sex the way low rise or even mid rise briefs to. Once Calvin Klein got in the picture, he designed classic tighty whities that didn't rise so high and were more tempting to the eye. ( Yeah, I'm a poet). Anyone remember the HUGE poster of the stud wearing white CK's in Times Square?
From there we evolved to 2xist, the best brief ever. I hope we can get back to being a nation of briefs/jock wearers.

I'm 34 and I've worn briefs my entire life. I tried boxers and boxerbriefs, each for a week and hated them with a fiery passion. I've got several different brands and styles of briefs, but mostly stick with a mid-rise or athletic type of brief.

I got lucky. I graduated high school in the early 90's, just before the boxer fad took off, so probably 95% of males in my age group back then still wore briefs. :biggrin1:

my dad wears briefs since i saw him first. as i see him with briefs sometimes i can say that he places his dick a lil bit rightish or leftish in order to hide a boner. he has such a big dick so i can see the outline easily. i wore briefs till age 14 i guess. i attended the school team and some guys made fun of my underwear that i thought i needed a change afterwards. after switching to boxers and boxerbriefs those were a way better than tighty whities !

Of all my friends (All straight, except my best friend who is bi) they all wear boxers or boxerbriefs. I don't know of any straight guys who wear briefs, but I'm sure theyre some who do. Personally, I find briefs a HUGE turn off, and I can't really "fit" in them. Not saying I'm 8+ inches, but theyre very uncomfertable to me.
