Um, I think it might be Andy Tennant because he was credited as a "Boy Greaser" in Grease 2, and he went on to direct Fool's Gold, Hitch and Sweet Home Alabama. Judging by some of the photos of when he was younger, on IMDB, he does look like the guy in the movie. He would have been around 26 when the movie was made.
