What are your thoughts on creatine? Do you take it and if so for how long?

P.S. To all of you working hard...keep going, keep training, keep improving!

I find it helped me recover faster form workouts. That being said it also gave me the shits, bloated me, and dint give me anything I can’t get from eating red meat. Not sure if I’d bother.

I've never been the best at eating constantly, so anything that helps. And I ordered a 5.5 oz container just to try it. Hopefully not too much bloating lol

I’ve never tried it but based on actual science it’s probably the only supplement that actually works as advertised.

I take creatine almost daily. Like twoton said, it's the one supplement that is universally recommended for building muscle and recovery. And it's cheap.

I didn't have the best experience with it. I have a tendency to have gastro sensitivity to a lot of things and this was one supplement that I remember causing me some digestive discomfort. I also found out that my liver enzymes were becoming elevated when I started taking this. When I stopped taking it at my physicians request my liver levels returned to normal. I did enjoy the appearance of fullness that the creatine gave me but aside from that I didn't really see any other benefits to taking it.
