I proudly rock Crocs. Those damn things are comfortable. And non-slip. I am a gangly beast, non-slip can be a life saver.

My dad got me a pair for the boat. I was "no, Dad, I love you but I don't wear Crocs love anybody" one Dad face later I was skipping along in funky-spongey shoe comfort .

In my head Dean Winchester wears Crocs in the showers at The Men of Letters stronghold. Sam rolls his eyes a lot. It's mostly jealousy cuz Crocs max out a little to small for Sasquatch.

My phone hates me.

My husband actually wrote a song about my shoes. He always said he was going to include it on an album.

Like 3 pairs of Converse, 3 pair of heels, 1 pair of boots, 1 pair of tennis shoes, 1 pair of ballet flats, and 1 pair of flip flops. So... ten? I could easily get rid of all the heels and not miss them. The chucks are kinda collecting dust. Finding comfy shoes is a fucker, because I have fairly wide feet. Damn it. It's why my flip flops get lots of love.

I have the opposite problem... narrow here. I walk right out of shoes all the time so I stick to certain brands.

I have a stupid amount of shoes. If I find narrow ones, I buy them. I rolled my ankle several months ago and probably broke/tore something (I was on vaca in CA and didn't go to the hospital... and once I was back, there wasn't a time that it hurt bad enough to go), so most of my cutie cute heels have been unworn for the last few months. Plus the guy I'm seeing is my height and I now need to walk a few blocks to work so there's less incentive. I've been adding to my flats collection lately... and it's not as easy to find cute, narrow shoes that don't look matronly.

My previous statement was because I noticed all the feedback about that link was negative. Maybe some of the ladies here do love those boots and kinda want them. But not I. I had a visceral reaction of "Ew!"

If I was going to choose a red bootie, or ankle boot, I like this pair. They don't look particularly comfortable, but I wouldn't expect to have to do much walking or standing when wearing them. I'd buy these shoes to tease the three men I'm seeing right now. One seems, amusingly enough, to be turned on by style. Wear a well put together outfit, and he wants to hurry up and take it off. One seems to just get turned on by cute shoes. One specifically likes to see my toes, and loves red nail polish. Ankle boots aren't my thing. They never fit my tiny ankles, for one thing, and I cannot afford custom. But these look like they'd fit, and I LOVE tall heels. Screenshot_2019-04-10-05-00-44.png

When I choose boots, I look for the following. Length. I prefer at or over the knee. Exceptions can be made. A pair of mid-calf boots is one of the best in my closet, and I wear them most days autumn through winter. Heel. Currently in the market for a pair of flat, over the knee or thigh high boots. I'm also always looking for cute shoes and boots with a small, kitten heel. I'm not afraid of high heels, but, I'm already full-up. Arch support. More is always better. No platform, or tastefully concealed platform. Platforms feel great, but look stupid, to me. Rarely do I see one and covet the shoe. Toes. No pointy toes. Square, round, open, or GTFO. I don't have pointy feet. Quality. Do they look well made? That's how I choose when practicality and comfort are the priority.

I attract men with an interest in shoes and feet. So, I look for little details if I'm looking for shoes that titillate. Toe cleavage. Exposed arch. Exposed toes. Straps. Buckles. Zippers. Fluff, fur, malibu or pom poms. Is anyone else wearing these shoes? Are they well made, or do they look cheap? When I choose shoes with my playmates in mind, I find that lots of women stop me and ask where I found them. The dudes about whom I was thinking seem very appreciative.
