Damn, like you had a mouth full of the hottest chili peppers imaginable
It's pretty incredible how plants have evolved to deal with the world around them, and cacti and orchids are probably my 2 favorite examples of extreme survivors.

I can't help but be reminded of a favorite movie...

I love flowers that sustain pollinators. These little guys work so hard for the benefit of every living creature. My Bee/Butterfly garden came in great this year. Mostly wild flowers and a few specific seed mixes for local and migrating species. The beds are a riot of color and laid out randomly.

Now that the evenings are cooler my house is getting the open window treatment. Everything smells amazing.

I need at add another been to my inkiness. I want a bumble bee next.

Flowers in general , though i do love roses , orchids , and cherry blossoms in particular . Love spring time , landscape awash with color , leaves on the trees and ,from a male point of view , add the women , out and about in their spring outfits . There is a feeling about spring , that makes me glad i'm still breathing .

It's a classic. So very quotable.

Oh, thank you! Now I can research bats in my area. And bat houses are so on my craft list.

I thought you might enjoy that... I watched a documentary about plants of the desert and saw how bats are a key pollinator. It fascinated me.

Here they come out in the evening as the sun is setting.

And since I can't embed pics I figured I'd share a video from the lovely Dani. I love her videos and I find her voice particularly soothing as well.
