Why do you want the series to continue? It's good that it ends in a third season so they don't overexploit the series like Riverdale, supernatural, grey's anatomy, etc.
Then by that logic, all shows should be 1 season. (And Riverdale peaked with the pilot). Why do you want the series to continue? It's good that it ends in a third season so they don't overexploit the series like Riverdale, supernatural, grey's anatomy, etc.

THIS! Thank you. At least you understood what I meant.Yes, agreed. I think if the show goes on too long it will become more of a teen soap like any other. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I think it would lose focus as being this one gay teen's journey toward coming out and self-acceptance. The other issue is that I don't think the issues of sex and sexuality are ones that a Disney-owned show can get into in the depth that is really necessary once the basic "coming out" and "first boyfriend" plots are done. Certainly the second season pushed boundaries quite a bit, but I don't know if Disney would ever let it go much farther because of the need to be nominally family-friendly.
It depends on where they were in the story & if they were still filming when the announcement came. We'll just have to trust the writers to see what they come up with. Maybe they'll be 1 hour long vs 30 minutes.3 seasons are enough tho

Like all male actors who play gay when starting out,he will be stigmatized for a while by the toxic homophobia in the industry, unfortunately. But he is young enough that he will hopefully start working again eventually.I hope he has a great career after Simon.
I don't think this stigma really exists anymore (for straight actors) ? Any other relevant modern examples of that? Bc I am not so sure about this.Like all male actors who play gay when starting out,he will be stigmatized for a while by the toxic homophobia in the industry, unfortunately. Can you name a straight actor who prominently played a gay role who quickly moved on to playing other great roles?I don't think this stigma really exists anymore (for straight actors) ? Any other relevant modern examples of that? Bc I am not so sure about this.

Getting examples for either is a little hard because there are so few gay male characters on TV to start with. But the stigma seems alive and well to me.
You think 28 half hour episodes is enough for a gay-centered show? That’s ridiculous. We deserve better than 14 hours of tv.3 seasons are enough tho

One need look no further then the original source material to the series, Nick Robinson has been in two prominent limited series, the Maid and the Teacher and various movies, most recently that internet drug dealer one. It doesn’t seem to have impacted his career negatively at all.
Then pay the actors and produce your own show XDDDDYou think 28 half hour episodes is enough for a gay-centered show? That’s ridiculous. We deserve better than 14 hours of tv.
