A lot of male performers who do a lot of homo, bi, hetero, trans porn fear that bottoming for men too often on camera will limit their potential non homo jobs. Some of course just don’t like bottoming much. But it’s similar to how years ago all male performers who crossed over into hetero porn would retroactively claim that they were “gay4pay”, that they never did anything with men before the gay porn and never did anything with men after. When in reality, perhaps most of those “crossover” performers were still doing shit with guys off camera, very much in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum, with some even having whole ass boyfriends while doing strictly hetero porn.
We see again and again that many of these male performers, no matter their identities or sexual dimensions or lifestyle or love life, have no problem throwing “gays” under the bus for more jobs, for more female appeal and to maintain their egos. And many only lean on “gays” when other opportunities aren’t there. They feel okay with doing it because it’s all about persona and money, and they know many male queers will still pay for them and pay attention to them. I’ve learned to not be offended because it is ultimately just porn, and a lot of these performers forever contend with fluidity, contradictions, insecurities, internalized phobias, mental health issues. But it’s also partly why I don’t “support” any of these performers on their platforms, just wank off for free and keep it pushing.
No matter the dimensions of his sexuality, lifestyle, where he is in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum- a lot of these guys fail to understand their privilege and their hypocrisy. I’m getting tired of these proudly bi/pan/fluid guys who constantly promote their hetero shit and post all these free clips of their non homo shit. But they want to put all the gay shit behind a paywall. Even if you’re very queer and even male-leaning romantically/relationship wise, it still comes off leech-like and problematic and like you’re desperate for female and hetero acceptance and approval. But, as I mentioned, it’s typical.
True but I will say that sometimes a person’s sexuality evolves. Take Gunnar for example. For the longest time he identified solely as straight and was doing gayforpay. But then he started to openly admit that he enjoys bottoming and couldn’t deny the pleasure a man brings to his prostate, so now he identifies as bisexual.
Bingo. Homophobia is still alive well in the industry
