The fact you feel strongly enough to quizz members without volunteering any information puts you not in the curious category but quite firmly in the embarrassing guest list. If you have to ask then you oviously have a very limited grasp of life and life skills.

I agree. I think there aren't as many "straight" people as there seem to be. Likewise, there aren't as may "gay" people as it seems. Everyone is somewhere in between.

I suppose the point I'm making is that most self-identified straight men, most guys who would go so far as to refer to themselves as "100% straight" would often, in the off-line world, be so paranoid about seeming gay that the LAST thing they'd do is compliment another guy's cock.

On the other hand, I remember being surprised by a porn movie I once saw. In the video, Ron Jeremy, who has had sex with more woman than most men ever will, than any twenty men ever will, is talking to a guy who has had a penis enlargement. Eventually, Ron asks to see the guy's penis. The guy pulls out his penis. Ron looks at it and goes, "That's a beautiful cock." I was surprised. But then in the porn world the penis is how they make their living, so they have to talk openly about it.

Hmmm...my 90% straight husband has been known to tell other men they are "a handsome man," kiss them on the cheek, and in one case, grab an ass...

Funny thing is, I thought he was joking, but when I later revealed that I had had a crush on the ass-grabbee, he said, "Yeah, so did I."

Lesson to straight guys: Beware of other seemingly straight guys who grab your ass. It may not really be a joke...

Lesson to me: It is so not fair that I didn't get to grab the ass in question! There's no way that would have been interpreted as a joke. Neither would cheek-kissing.

But it was funny when one of our friends turned his face so hubby hit his lips instead! While the rest of us were laughing our asses off, those two made a big show of wiping their lips and saying "Oh, yuck! We are so not gay!" Interesting.

Anyway, I think there are far less straight people out there than it seems. Just my opinion. There is so much fear and insecurity when it comes to our sexual identities.

LPSG just lets people relax a little more.

I think it is because most of us on lpsg are very open about things. That's why I joined this site. I don't find that much in real life. Not with family, friends, or the guys at work. I consider myself straight and have not had a same sex encounter nor do I want one. I do find the human body including the male body to be beautiful. I find the female body to be much more erotic however. I do look at some gay porn but usually just to admire the male body and to see how I "compare". I usually go for female pix when I masturbate and not always nude pix either. I spend a lot time on superior pics and womens sports photo forum as well as other sports womens sites.
I just find athletic women very erotic. I have been called half gay for telling
some of the guys at work that I like athletic women. I just said "oh well".
Notice I did say athletic women and not body builders. I am also in awe of some of the large cocks I have seen pix of. If this makes me part gay I still say "oh well" but I don't think it does. Read on some of the other sex forums that are out there and you will be quite surprised...I know I was to see how many are interested in the bodies of other men. I don't see any problem with this myself. Just my humble and honest opinion.

True. I need to get a new username. I WAS new when I posted those other things.

For clarification, those comments when taken out of context of the discussion at hand are robbed of their original intention, which was humor. I was JOKING when I wrote most of that stuff, such as the guy being a homo. I made some other comment about someone needing to be more of a "queen," and he laughed and said he would try....

Then again, if you take into account the number of my posts here, then I still AM new. I wrote those posts a while ago, left the board, and haven't really returned until recently.

Upon my lastest return, I'm not joking anymore. This was a serious question. As I mentioned in the other thread, I had an experience with a black guy. I have no regrets and I'm not ashamed. But I haven't had any since then, and I don't want to. However, this whole topic is interesting to me.

By the way, most self-identified straight guys have done gay stuff at one point or another, all the way from circle jerks up to sucking a guy's dick or getting sucked, even into anal sex.

As a self-idenfied straight guy, I'd never dream of complimenting another guy's dick in the off-line real world. I was just interested in why it goes on here.

At any rate, I don't have anything to hide. If I'd not wanted others to find my previous posts it's really as simple as getting a new username, which is as easy as getting a free yahoo email address.

Erm.... just because someone chooses the username "New Member", it doesn't mean that they - or the subject matter of their thread - are new.

In fact, let's not overlook some of New Member's posts from when he was posting previously, in March of this year:

I wasn't quizzing anyone. No one had to answer. I don't have a limited grasp on life and life skills. I'm fascinated by human sexuality, and one thing I've noticed is that the younger generation of straight males is, thankfully, a little more in-touch with themselves than my generation was. These days, it's relatively common to hear guys talking about their emotions, being concerned with their appearances, or admitting to finding others attractive. I find this fascinating, and I'm really proud of the younger generation. I was wondering if maybe this dick complimenting thing is a new development of straight men that I hadn't been aware of.

Thanks for your response.

This is a sensitive subject to bring up. Not because the members dont know who they are. They most certainally do. Sraight,Gay, Bi,etc. Everybody is welcome. Its about being secure of ones sexuality. The human body is beautfull. a straight man who is secure with his own sexuality can admire another mans penis and have no desires of a sexual nature. Mabye you were sincere in your post. I dont know. Everybody is welcome here. You are too......

I'm a straight guy, and I like to look at pictures of big cocks. But what I'm thinking when I look at them is "Wow, I wish I had one like that!" rather than "oo, I want to suck on that!"

This is exactly how I feel.

And a lot of guys feel that way, but will rarely admit it. And that's OK, too. It is what you are comfortable with. So this was Much Ado About Nothing. Enjoy the new enlightened world of LPSG! "To thine own self be true."

I suppose I've just never seen anything like this. It's very odd. I consider myself straight, and I have no desire to have sex with a man or be touched by a man, yet I know a good looking dick when I see one and I think it's cool that other self-identified straight men here can do the same.

When you think about it, you hear straight women complimenting each other's bodies all the time. Why should it be different for men?

By George, I think he's got it!

I suppose maybe what triggered it was my own questions about myself. I suppose I have this idea that if you are really straight then you would think the penis, any penis, even your own, is ugly, disgusting, foul, etc. Overall, I'd have to say that the penis is not exactly what I'd call the best looking body part, but sometimes I think it's really cool, and sometimes I see other guys' cocks and think they are good looking. This makes me wonder, "Ah, who am I kidding? I must be bisexual at the least, then." But, as with the two guys earlier, for me, it stops at knowing that it's a good looking cock. I don't want to touch it or anything. For me, it's like, "I wish that cock were mine. I wish mine were that big."

Maybe it goes back to male jealousy. I think it may be hard for me to admit that other guys have better dicks than me. I'm not happy with my size or it's looks. I'm perfectly average, and as far as dicks go it's a pretty good looking dick, symmetrical and everything, charming mushroom-like helmet. But I suppose most of us would like just an inch or more.

Yeah, you're right. It's a sensitive topic, and my sarcastic/humorous comments of the past aren't helping. But it's a topic I'm really working with now in my own personal life, so I figured I'd share it here.

For me, it seems more like a brotherly thing, I guess.

This literally almost brings tears to my eyes (and I'm not kidding here). Lately, I'm realizing this more and more about men. A lot of us have a lot going on inside of us that we are not secure to share with one another, or even a woman. Believe me, at no point will I ever discuss this with anyone else in the off-line world. Anyway. Thanks.

Actually, I suppose what I really meant to say is that it amazes me to think there are straight men who can talk about these things, and it's too bad I didn't know straight men like this while growing up.
